[MSFS 2020] Piper PA-24-250 Comanche - MARGINAL VFR - first flight in type

My love of Piper aircraft is large! (I'd buy them all if I could!) The PA-24-250 Comanche was fast, agile, and cutting edge. Quite the beast, especially coming from Cherokees and Warriors!
I was being brave (or knocking on Murphy's door) for recording my first flight in it. One thing I love about MSFS is how it pulls in live weather data. (Sure, X-Plane and MSFS have done that for decades, but now-a-days the graphics give us so much more than just Cloud Cover, Precip, and Wind!) I took off from one local airport, quickly realized I had just blundered into marginal vfr conditions, and (cause it's a simulator) foolishly headed off to my destination, a 'new' regional airport in my old stomping grounds. (I say new cause it was built and went into service about 20 years ago! Still New to me!)
Interestingly, for a January day that in Real Life we have scattered snow showers and the ground covered with snow, in the sim, it looks more like a stormy spring day with all that green grass and fully leafed out trees...
So in the video you get to see take off, flight in a variety of 'I shouldn't be here' conditions, and landing. Being my first flight in the 250, I'm sure I handle the engine wrong; I always kind of get the 'near to far and back' thing wrong with the throttle and prop controls. The video also cut off (probably a hard stop at some time or size limit I wasn't aware of) so you don't get to see the shut down procedures. But, that's probably for the best, I basically just pull the mixture and kill the battery. ;)

It pulls live weather data. But there's no snow on the ground, it's all green, and the trees have leaves on it? The date was right, and I only changed the time to 11am (cause it's dark at 7pm) and I increased the temp up to 35 cause I didn't want to deal with any serious icing conditions. Not sure why there is no snow. *Captain Jack Sparrow* But why is there no snow?!
