All those blooms are gorgeous!! Such an amazing collection and such great growing areas. Love that luzonica hybrid, such a beautiful vanda! Also love that you protect your cettleyas from the rain as definitely helps control the black rot. Seriously beautiful collection! 😍
Your collection is beautiful! I so enjoy watching you guys share not only your own, but other's collections. I really love your grow space. I am going to have to copy your setup because it is not only amazing, but seems like a great way to show and also protect your plants this winter. I have been buying like crazy thinking I will worry about winter later. Now, here we are, almost October so now I have to really stop putting it off. I can't help but copy your brilliant setup.
@huttongd Hi, Duane. we are happy to know that you've been adding more orchid plants to your collection. Soon, we will have to go and make a video of it. And we thank you for your praise and your continuous support. Hopefully we'll see you soon.
Thank you Vicky and Sergio for the time and dedication creating such educational and interesting videos for us. I hope to see you soon in the incoming shows here down south. 👍
@@yudieracosta7292 hi, Yudier. It's always nice hearing from you. We were down at Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach this past weekend. Thanks so much for your continuous support and feedback. Abrazos.
@vickyslikes Really, I was going to go, but then I decided to go to the Aroids Show at Tamiami since it was closer from home. Hope to see you guys at The Rare Plants Show in Redland next Month.

I love seeing your weekly orchid collection development- it’s fun to see your grow spaces and the blooming progress of your collection. Don’t worry about repeat showing of blooming orchids because it’s interesting for orchid lovers to see a collection’s progress over the year. We don’t mind, really.
Hi, Jaenie. We are so happy you enjoyed this video as well. We are not sure which vanda you are referring to. Is it the one at 11:48?. Please let us know. Catasetums are awesome. We love them. Enjoy your next Orchid event. We'll watch the video. Thanks so very much again and again ❤
Hello Sergio and Vicky, I am honored that you mentioned the outcome of my repotted ludicious discolor Jewel orchid. If not for your tutorial video my own plant may have been a goner. What vendor did you purchase your Catasetum Edguardo A. Pauteno? You really know how to grow your orchids. Most of all thank you Sergio and Vicky for always be kind to your viewers by providing informative current topics and educating us on how to be better hobbyist orchid growers. Respectfully,
Hi, Debb. We are so happy we ran into you again at the Mounts Orchid Show. The Catasetum Pauneto we got from Paradise Orchids, a nursery we've been buying Orchids from for a few years. Perhaps we can spare a division someday for a very special viewer 🤗🤗💓💓.
Hi Vickey and Sergio, Thanks again for showing your gorgeous blooms and growspace. All of those Vandas blooming looks amazing, and puts quite the show! I have a question on your Catasetum type orchids, and when they are dormant, do you not give them any water due to the humidity? I am recently thinking of getting one, and wondering if they do great in your climate. Thanks! Have a great weekend!❤❤😊😊
Hi, we thank you for always being here. The big Catasetum we never stopped watering. We reduced the amount of water, though. It never lost all the leaves. So, we are growing the other Catasetums the same. Highly recommend it. We love the flowers. Again, thank you always from the bottom of our hearts 💕
Hey, awesome video....thst pink cattleya with the spots... I think the name is Catt. YAUN Dunn sweet dragon fruit. I put one on order from Thailand and will be collecting it next week at the international show 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Pls can you supply the name of the Maroon Red vanda. Not your new one ( with is gorgeous 😍). The other one thst has smaller flowers. I have the same 1, but they 🐒 stole the tag 😁 I really want to try Catasetums...I will check if they have some st the show next week
Hi! Thanks so much for the video! So beautiful. The orchid you asked about is either "Monte Elegante" or "Cattleya yuan dung sweet dragon fruit"(most likely as it seems to be everywhere lately!)
Great growing guys! I agree in moving the Phalaenopsis. Your catasetums are over the top, especially that first one. Did you give them a rest last year? Your vandas are also popping! Happy growing!
Hi, PC. The big catasetum never lost all its leaves. We decreased the watering considerably but never stopped completely, and there you have it. The vandas are loving it there. The phals also, but the rain was too much. Best regards to you and always thank you ❤️
So, yes. We had a different structure last year, and we wrapped it up in plastic. We re designed it, and we are going to have a video about it. Thanks so much again.
Hi Viki & Sergio At the end Vicki is standing in front of a vanilla orchid. I killed my last one and I got one at the Orchid Den when we were there. I need help in how to grow that successfully please.
Hi, Luesa. Yes, we got a couple of vanilla orchids from EFG about 3 or 4 months ago. We left them in their pots with spagnum moss. We recently repotted one of them. We left some spagnum in her roots and added orchid mix and lava rock into a terracota deep pot,but the most important thing is adding a climbing pole since they are climbers. Fingers crossed, we'll let you know how she does. Thanks so much!!!!
Aww... love your orchids collection! They look so healthy and beautiful! 🤗💚🌺
