Porto Cristo is as its name suggests a port town located on the East coast of Mallorca. It is also home to some of the island’s most popular attractions such as the Caves of Drach, the Caves of Hams and Dinosaurland.
It’s also a town that is fabulously connected to other coastal areas, sights and beaches on the East Coast. But what is Porto Cristo like for a holiday destination in its own right? Let’s find out.
In this video, I'll show you around the centre of Puerto Cristo and the location of the Hotel Felip, Porto Cristo, possibly one of the most popular hotels here. We'll take a look at Porto Cristo beach, the restaurants and cafes where you will get an idea of prices.
We'll look at how to get around using the Mini-Train in Porto Cristo. I also look at how much it costs to eat out in Porto Cristo and even find the cheapest place in Mallorca to eat. And we'll take a look at things to do in Porto Cristo as well as how easy it is to get around.

This is exactly what I needed to see tonight! It’s been sunny here today, but not warm and it was lovely to be transported over to Mallorca. This video has such a nice sunny vibe with the scenery and the music. Porto Cristo looks beautiful with a lovely relaxed holiday vibe! That parking though!! I would definitely be looking for a less scary space! 😅

Omg .. nice to see the "El Patio" is still there. Was there quite a few years with my parents back in the 70s - 80s .. good to see it still has it charme and hasn't become like other typical tourist centers or whatever else.
Oh, and that last part, nice its also still there, we so often stopped there at the evening to have either a "Pincho" or "Bistec" .. was always great.
I’ll head back there soon hopefully !

That little bar at the end of the video, Es Rivet, does the best coffee in Mallorca and it is also the cheapest. I haven't tried the food but it looked and smelt good.
Oh that's great to know! Iced coffees have been keeping me going this Summer, so next time I'm that way, I'll have to try !

The owners of the waterfront bar we frequent in cala bona, live there. Looks a lovely place.
It-s a fab spot to go for a day trip, and see some of the attractions or just get lunch, and is really well connected!

We live there (but Porto Cristo Novo) since April 2021 and love it ❤ Especially Cala Anguila and Cala Romantica. It‘s much more lovely than the City Beach in Porto Cristo. You have to try it.
And watch out for a magic place called „Cala Morlanda“. 3km from Porto Cristo

I'm hearing there's an aquarium near the caves of Drach? Any idea if it's still there and how much entry fee is?
Literally never heard of it! The only aquarium I know of is on the Playa de Palma!
