  • The C.SCOPE C.S4Pi is a Pulse Induction Metal Detector designed specifically for beach use. How will it do if I use it at a park? Had to try!
I did a review with this detector at the beach and loved it. I was asked if it could be used at other locations. So, I decided to give it a try. Although it was designed as a beach detector, It did a decent job at a local park. It found many targets. After trying it out I will probably stick to the beach with this one.

I bough this detector for the beach. I was asked about using it away from the beach so I had to try. This park visit was the result

As a beach detector just wondering about concerns of dropping it salt water. Trying to choose between the Garrett Sea Hunter and the CS 41 .. thanks

I am not familiar with the Sea Hunter but this one will have an issue if you drop it in the water.... If the Hunter has a waterproof control head, it may be the better choice...just my initial thought.

No brainer get the Seahunter......I can't believe that c scope designed a beach detector that wasn't waterproof. The Seahunter will never have a water issue,is easier to use and deeper with the larger coil. Also,it has trash elimination which can be of some use in certain circumstances,ie,searching the dry sand for recent shallower loses while knocking out some smaller bits of aluminium.

It's cool that you were still able to find stuff with it even though it is intended for water-ish use. Also, it sounds like the Oscar Mayer Wiener song!

You nailed the first target. You had a decent hunt, even if every target was a total surprise.
Take care and stay safe. 🙂👍🏻👍🏻

I don’t think that I would like that metal detector but you never know.
    Cool finds in the coins.
It’s kind of funny to see how you started out not wanting to get dirty and kneeling on a plastic grocery bag.
I plan on kneeling on a knee pads or a garden mat.

This detector is not for everyone... It takes some practice and there are easier ones to use. but it did an OK job. Yeah, I now have a garden mat...lol

I prefer a machine that will give me an idea of what the target is before I dig. I also like to use a flat-head screwdriver to dig my coin target out of the ground, it's faster. Happy hunting!

I have never tried using a screwdriver. That is interesting. I agree about the detector target ID. thanks for sharing

Pulse induction machines certainly will find Targets deeper than vlf machines, but the downside is they're beep and dig detectors. They're not really suited for Park hunting, probably better in fields where there's less trash. But they're certainly great water machines for saltwater beaches especially if the detector's waterproof and you can get out in the water with it. I presume that this cscope is not.

Hey diggin SoCal I think a really awesome application for this detector would be for hunting in the woods like old house sites but not directly over the site itself as you would be there for years diggin probably but in order to get those old deep targets

I agree. I am going out in the desert "gold claim" soon and want to test it there. Beach sand vs desert sand...hum?

Diggin' SoCal I think it would shine in all conditions and maybe for coin relic hunting cuttin the sensitivity back a little bit just to avoid that small micro trash

Any idea if it can do the job on nugget hunting on high mineralized soil ?

    • @DigginSoCal
      @DigginSoCal  4 роки тому +3

I am thinking yes. I did not show it on my video where I was detecting on the gold claim. I mainly used the Equinox 800 but pulled it out and used it for a while. Unfortunately I can't say for certain because I did not find gold with either. But I will try again very soon.

Thank you so much for answear and time . I am quite sure it can do the job 👍 . Can you imagine 300,00 bucks machine able to find Gold nuggets ! Technically it won’t be able to find micro nuggets ... 4.2 K PPs compare to 7 k PPs for Garrett Atx or White ´s Tdi sl but why not ? On gramme it should be possible ...
i stray tuned on your channel for your test and happy hunting ! 👍
