- Review of the C.Scope CS1MX Metal Detector, manufactured here in the uk.
It's been long overdue for me to test a British made, well-established metal detector brand, and here finally I get the chance to do it.
For more details and information please check out the detector here- www.uneartheduk.co.uk/product...

One of Detectings best kept secrets Graeme 17 kHz , polo coil and made in the uk 🇬🇧 no nonsense detecting at its best , Your video sums it up a treat 👍
Thanks kev, agreed, a very capable easy to use machine for sure
I think most of the " older" detectorists like me ( searching from the late 80s) started with a cscope.
There was not much choice, you saw csope, tesoro and whites. The cs770 was my first md, followed be the whites sl2...stil miss them. I stil have a soft spot for csopes, looking for a good 1220xd.
Unreal, really like how in your face the targets are mate very loud and clear what a great little machine
A very good point there andrew, in your face targets, like it
Nice review Graeme. What a great little machine, very respectable performance with sure and sharp audio, no vdi needed! 👍🏻
So simple and easy to use, no messing just great tones!
That's a blast from the past Graeme! I started off with a C-Scope TR Treasure Seeker in 1981 (£40 from my mam's catalogue that I paid back from my paper round) and progressed to a C-Scope 1220b in 1985. I had that one for 10 years before I was lured by the newer models, it never missed a beat and found loads. I remember the discrimination being very accurate and reliable.
You are right on all accounts rob! Hope you are well too mate
Great review and what an impressive little machine 👍
Thank you for watching sir 👍
Great video , looking forward to selling these and getting feedback from customers 😊
Very good melanie
C. SCOPE ara the best matel
Detecders money Can buy
and they good quality matel Detecders and I got the
C . Scope CS 1 mx motion
metal Detecder and I had
the newforce R1 metal Detecder
a very long time ago and it cost
me two hundred pounds wich
was a lot cheaper and I was Going too get the same metal Detecder and when I seen the price four hundred pound
I Got the C. Scope CS 1 mx

Pound and it dose the same thing

if it's cheap matel Detecder
or a very expensive
matel Detecder .
I still have my Garrett Freedom Ace Plus, which is exactly like the C-Scope. I bought it in 1992. Two knobs: On/off sensitivity and other knob discrimination. No display. Still working great.
Nice one luis 👍
Nice review Graeme. Thanks. Got a soft spot for C-Scope as I started out with a BFO I bought from a friend in school for £5. would love to see a review of the 770. Would be interesting to see what a modern non-motion detector is like.
Yes agreed totally james, i may do the 770 in the autumn time.👍
Nice video might have to get my one back out and have some fun
So precise and accurate too shaun 👍
Great video review
Thank you sir 👍
Ive retried this detector and with disc on 8 it takes ou tthat medium iron and still gives a good signal on my 9ct gold wedding ring
There you go! 👍
Nice find friend 👍
Thank you for watching 👍
I love the C-Scope machines, I just wish the prices had been updated. I'd love to try the 6MXi, but the prices are just too high for the current market.
(Plus, I live just down the road from the factory.)
I wonder if they will allow a factory tour?
@@unearthed-detecting-tv could be interesting.
Come and see us !
@CScopeMetalDetectors that would be amazing, would it be OK to film?
I remember those from the catalogs in the 80's 👍🏻
Yes, these are newer and better models now
I started with a BFO in the 70s and moved to a VLF1000 both of which I still have.
And they will still find things too i bet
@@unearthed-detecting-tv not much depth especially on the BFO but the VLF1000 is still pretty handy for being 45 years old. Not as comfy as modern machines mind.
@@Mind-your-own-beeswax great that you still have them mate
@@unearthed-detecting-tv also got my Compass Goldstar 400 and Arado 130 still. Not had batteries in them for probably 20 years I would think
Good to keep them! I wish i kept my arado and old detectors!
looks a perfect machine for those used to using the old type of tech. 👍 even newbies could learn from that 👍
Agreed mate, it will pretty much find everything in its path down to a certin depth
Brilliant detectors. I've had two of these. Lightning fast recovery good discrimination, built to last plenty deep enough
Agreed
Nice video mate, keep going🙃
Thanks jimmy, feel free to subscribe to the channel as I think you will enjoy it
That’s a nice backup machine! Just wondering how it responds when there in (a lot of) iron in the ground?
I will give it a go on an iron infested field soon 👍
Nice video mate
Thanks! 👍
C-scope was my way into detecting .shame the evo didn't work out I think a lot of people would have bought it if it was as good as the competition.
Agree, i tested the first one and it was decent, just needed that extra push to make it over the line
There is nothing wrong with Beep and Dig detectors....I began with the Garrett Freedom 3, then the Fisher 1266X over 30 years ago . Made some great finds with them, especially the Fisher. Detectorists want more bells and whistles which in a way could make a detectorist miss targets. Many rely too much on the VDi....Not sure if I would go back to a beep and dig detector myself...but those were the good ole days!...
Agreed, i had a 1266x and it was immense for deep hammereds on pasture, this machine has sparked the old days in me!
@@unearthed-detecting-tvawesome detectors. I've had two last one stolen. Get great depth light as feather weather resistant light and easy to use. Lightning fast recovery too.
Hi Graeme, my mates dad is think about started the hobby and we’re just looking at getting him a detector, am I remembering right that if he gets a detector from your shop he’s allowed to join in on your rallies? Also have you got any discount codes or anything for us, cheers mate
Hi jim, tell him to ring the office at anytime quoting your name and we can help him! Im back in the office on Thursday morning
Very light well balanced machine batteries seam to last for ever .yes modern toroso or lazer and much cheaper English manufactur fantastic.
Do you sell control box covers please.
Hi peter, agreed! The covers will be with us soon sir
if the is a lot of iron in the ground
put more discrimination on
and reduce the sensitivity
and way pay £400 for a metal Detecder when you can Bay
the c. Scope cs 1mx
matel Detecder for £100 - 60
when it does the same thing
has a £ 400 matel Detecder
