I just want to say this was a great and well thought out tutorial. I’ve been wanting to make magnetic bookmarks for my shop and this was super helpful.
I honestly never used my cricut swear but you make these instruction look so easy ..Im def thinking of trying this.. you circled all the areas at top to show exactly were to use what on cricut wow thanks
The double sided glue dots are larger then the small circle magnet...and stick out catching whatever touches the glue dot that's exposed. They are .5" diameter... And the magnets are I believe just barely .4" diameter.
@@DoseOfBaani Agree. I tried the glue dots and they did show through. Also, the glue dot lifted the magnet off on one side of the bookmark after a day. So there was that as well. Don't recommend. I tried using hot glue...and nope. Same thing happens in which the magnet on one side of the bookmark lifts off. The combination of magnet, glue, and laminate has and is proving to be a bit tricky for me. 😬
Hello, this video was very helpful. I have tried and with some of the same results, some did not work...too strong or too weak and then just right. Take care.
Hi! I found a solution to the double sided script situation. If you duplicate and rotate the image 180(ish) degrees it’ll completely flip upside down and be legible :)
Your tutorial is amazing. Can you let me know the exact tecwrap sheets you used. Print or non-print, holographic or white etc. I saw there were multiple selections on the website but really love the one you used in your tutorial. Thanks, Millie
I used the holographic laminate sheets (non-print). You can find them here with my affiliate link teckwrapcraft.com/en-ca/collections/printable-paper/products/inkjet-printable-sticker-vinyl?variant=42750377918662
Yes you can laminate it. I use cold self laminating sheets from Teckwrap, I have not done it with pocket sheets and heat. I’m not sure pocket ones would work unless you did a larger offset so that the laminate seals - you would also have to find a higher pressure setting to use on your Cricut.
@@littlecraftnest I have tried the "heat pocket laminate" version and I found it to work for me. There were a few bookmarks where the laminate did not seal completely at the edges after the cut, so what I did is run them through individually through my laminating machine a few times. That fixed it. 😊
@ryason3893 how did you get the cricut to read it after you laminated it? I had to cut mine out by hand because after I laminated it, the cricut wouldn't read it to cut.
@leeumsplayhouse5086 Here are a few tips you can try. Light likes to reflect of the laminate so you can dim the lights or trace over the registration lines with a sharpie or put matte scotch tape over the registration lines. I hope that helps.
Every Cricut machine operates using Cricut Design Space. So if you watch a tutorial for a Maker, in most cases you will also be able to do the same thing on the Air 2. For this specific tutorial you would not be able to use the scoring wheel on the air 2 but you can use the scoring stylus instead. All other steps would be the same. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
I have several sticker videos but none dedicated to round stickers. What you can do is grab a circle from shapes, add your image and text on top. Select all layers and flatten. Then duplicate to make however many you need. Some of these videos may help. Doublesided glue dots work perfect for the small silver magnets.

Great tutorial. New to your channel.

Great tutorial! Just one question: could I do all of this using a Cricut Joy Extra? Thank you in advance! 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yes you can make this project with the Cricut Joy Xtra. Happy crafting!

Great suggestion!
This has been so extremely helpful. Would you please tell me the title of the flower on canva. I have tried looking and can't find it.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately I can’t find that image back and I no longer have that project saved.

The Laminate sheets?? What are they called on Teckwrap? Are they the vinyl sticker paper?
It will say “Laminate Sheets Non-Printable” also available in Holographic. Here’s a link teckwrapcraftaffiliateprogram.sjv.io/eKk49r (affiliate link)

Do you send this to your regular printer to print all the colors in these book marks? And do you have to have canvas to make these?
You can make these in Cricut Design Space with any image you want to use, you do not need Canva. I use a regular ink jet printer to print these.
Hi ive never used cardstock before. How many gsm is yours
I’m using regular craft cardstock, usually 65 lb. Don’t go too thick as it could jam your printer.
@@littlecraftnest is lbs and gsm different? I've never in my life used cardstock. Looks cool tho and want to try.
Thank u
Do you have a link on how to use the wireless cricut 2

Where did you find the magnet sheet?
Dollar Store.
@@littlecraftnest Which dollar store...Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General, 99cent store?
@barbra429 I’m in Canada. I got them from “A buck or two”
