Brother Tony, please see if you can get this Action Man Documentary on Netflix. It deserves the chance to educate a larger audience. Bravo on an amazing job..very well done. I've watched it a few times over the last 2-3 years.

2 days ago called into a vintage toy store thinking I might pick up one action man came back with 2. Action man Field Commander and Field radio boxed came dressed with a pilot bomber jacket. Even came with paperwork, 2 action man booklet's and 2 cards you'd send off and a G.I. Joe. US Army soldier unboxed. Missing pistol backpack knife and holder
Great bargain. Action man reduced to £155 from £195. G.I Joe priced at £20 she let me have for £10. So picked up an Army soldier uniform. Those modern replicas they've bought out aren't actually an action man doll there cheap Imitations and cheap looking. Bring back the action man dolls back to our toy stores.

I think the Japanese side was a missed opportunity.
Germany got all the attention being so close to Britain but realistically, Germany was the ideal distraction for the Japanese to annihilate the British empires reputation across Asia.
Japan hit Britain far harder than Germany in ww2, Hong Kong was a bloody nose, but Singapore was a complete and utter humiliation for the British empire.
Personally i reckon Britain should have let the nazis march on Moscow while Britain took on Japan (hopefully with American support, America was far more interested in the Pacific in the 1930s than it was in Europe).
Let the nazis take Moscow and watch them collapse under the pressure of trying to hold onto it, and it may have killed off communism in the process, then blockade Germany and all its allies to speed up its downfall.
Basically what Britain did to napoleon, it should have done in ww1 and ww2 to Germany. By 1939 it was too late to start an all out war with Germany. Just deny them access to shipping and they could only last so long even without the difficulties of occupation.

Great comment , I think we do overlook the Japanese when we think about the war , and I’ll bet 99.9% of youngsters don’t even know anything of the struggles , except from Hollywood movies where the USA fought them lol
