I definitely agree with a lot of this for getting your gaming mojo back! I seem to go through phases of shooters and single player story stuff, but you have to change it up because when you come across a game doing something new it feels so refreshing!
You could definitely do this by either using an app to split it in the middle like fancy zones, or simply playing COD in windowed mode 16:9 aspect ratio and having OBS on the other portion of the screen

100% agree! Baldurs Gate 3 was a big one for me, had never played a game like that before and blew my mind as to what else was out there

have you found a way to play for an example to play call of duty on one side of the screen and have obs on the other side and still have it at 240hz?
