Well, here it is, my last FNAF theory. It’s been a WILD ride over the past decade of overanalyzing, theorizing and toe counting and to be honest… I loved every second of it. Today’s theory attempts to give closure to over 10 years and 60 theories worth of thoughts. I wanna talk today about legacy, not just my own but Scott Cawthon's as well, and how through one small choice he not only changed my life, but he changed the ENTIRE world!

It was very humble of MatPat to not mention how much his videos influenced the success of this franchise. He went over all the different ways this franchise literally impacted the world, and didn't think to mention the fact that when ANYONE thinks of FNAF, they think of him.

@@hamiz8476That too, to be fair there is also a school of thought that FNAF may have been one of the first big 'Streamer' games, IE games that work especially well for lets plays because of enjoyment of the reactions and where personality was able to become a bigger aspect of the steamer space over just gaming skill

I still remember when I was a little kid watching the theories and immediately going to ky friends to tell them all about it and also make our own mini theories from it. I'll be honest, I'm not really in the theorist gang, but I have dabbled into the GT's content here and there in these many years. First knew about this channel waayy back from the first ever FNAF video, to the Doki doki theories and my last go to videos were the Food theories last year. Your earlier fnaf theories were one of the things that actually had made me start liking fnaf back in the early days of the game when I was really scared of it. Thank you MatPat. It's the end of an era. You were a big part of my childhood and now with this I am realizing that my childhood really is ending soon. Some of my favorite childhood youtubers have retired or fallen from grace. It's sad to see but we are all growing up.
I know we had all memed about how "Oh matpat just made his 100th final fnaf theory" but the fact this is actually his final fnaf theory is generally making me tear up a bit as i type this. We'll all miss you Matpat. Thank you for everything

I've been here for over a decade. You got me through middle school, highschool, college, and now into my adult life. And so much of the comfort you have given me has been from fnaf. You and Cawthon both have left an immeasurable effect on the online world and the world in general. Seeing this series put into perspective, outside of lore and bites and toes. It's truly striking. My wife died almost two years ago and I couldn't sleep, I could barely function and on a whim my best friend and I just sat down to watch the fnaf theories, as a way to not think for me. And let me tell you. It has seen me through some of the worst, sleepless nights of my life.

It’s actually insane to me to know that this’ll be the last FNAF theory with MatPat hosting, I’ve grown up watching his theories for the past several years. I started watching matpat when I was 7 years old and it was worth it I can't believe that the matpat legacy has ended matpat and hundreds of other youtubers were and still are my childhood im not sad that soo many of them have stopped makeing videos but I'm actually happy for what unforgettable experiences and memories I have with them And they will always stay in my heart as a trophy of honor that I had to be honored of watching them but with all of that said thank you matpat and all other youtubers that have given us a great and unforgettable experience of a childhood thank you so much for everything

The likelihood anybody will see this comment is slim, but the butterfly effect applies to how much you've changed in our lives as well. I found horror games and everything down that path mainly from this channel, and its changed my life a lot. I watched tons of content from when I was younger, and off and on over the years, but this is one of my favorite videos you've ever made. Thank you so much, matpat!

I started watching when the first fnaf theory came out about 11 years ago, when I was 10-11 maybe I’m now 21 and game theory has been there and watched me grow up from adolescence to adulthood, it’s crazy how one video I clicked on all those years ago led me to this moment now, we made the right person famous, thank you matpat for the theories and the memories I wish you happiness 🤍

10.5 years ago I bit the bullet and moved abroad for a hope if a better life. MatPat has been one of the things that remained constant in my life before and after the move. I've moved apartments a couple of times, changed jobs, ended a long relationship, started a new one and got married, lost my grandparents, survived the shitshow the pandemic was, struggled with mental health on and off, and stuff. But the theory videos were always a constant. It's still hard to believe this is the last FNAF theory coming from him. Dang, this is depressing. Well, thank you for lasting this long a very fickle market and putting your heart and soul into it!

I only started watching Game Theory because of FNAF (and then I watched all 90+ fnaf videos on this channel and GTLive in the course of about 3 weeks...). In a weird way, it has changed me. You and Scott really have made a huge impact. It's crazy to think about. Thank you for all that both of you have done. when I was about 9, I wanted to built the animatronics in real life. Because of that I started to get into programming and engineering and am now building the animatronics IRL at the age of 17.
