I love how Bonnie has now become the ultimate missing puzzle piece of the FNAF lore this era and for some reason he seems to have now become the new Golden Freddy.
also interestingly (unless its already been mention) bonnie (blue bonnie) in every fnaf game that bonnie's in (fnaf 1,2,4 *sister locations dosent count since he was just a hand puppet*) bonnie is always the first to start going after the player and usually (from watching other people's playthru) is the most agressive activating on night 1 and during other nights will visit the player the most often

The theory of Cassie’s dad being one of the bros during the bite is probably my favorite theory to come out of Ruins release, if the new games can tie back to the original 4 in a semi cohesive way I’ll honestly be content
If I did the math assuming he was 13 during the bite 13+17=30 30+35=65 therefore he would be 65 during ruin so therefore I don’t think it’s normal for a 65 year old man almost the age of my grandpa to have a 12 yo child
Honestly, I thought that Cassie's father didn't die or go missing, but changed. Something he experienced made him completely change how he viewed these characters he used to love. Another detail that I am surprised Matpat didn't mention (although almost certainly would have noticed) is in the end credits. Each entry seemed normal enough, except for his favorite lore bots, the staff bots. They had "..." after their entry. Makes me wonder why. The feeling it gives me is the way that a person trailing off is normally written, especially to indicate uncertainty. But that's just a theory.
If he truly is Michael's childhood friend, than maybe he knows about some more horrific things that involved mike and the animatronics, like fnaf sister location ending and the death of Elizabeth (mike's sister), maybe he used to collect those things and love the animatronics but stopped after what happened to the crying child, but that's just a theory 🙃

I always thought the "It hurts to look at quote" for the AR Monty plush was because its the first AR collectible you can get, and lets be honest glitchy grid patterns are not easy to look at without some eye strain.
I still think that's the reason xD It's the first item we find right after we get the Vanny mask. I think if she was taking about Monty specifically the quote would be like "It's hard to look at HIM/to HIM."
@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868i think it could be possible that she knows because she doesn't have any reaction when she finds bonnie while she does in so many other events
Another thing about jesters, they were also meant to kind of make fun of the king after he'd been worshipped all day to make sure he doesn't lose sight of the problems around the kingdom. Jesters got to say things that others would be executed for. Whether this is relevant to anything in terms of lore or not, it is kind of interesting.
I really like the “Bonnie kid is Cassie’s dad” part! It’d be awesome to see how other perspectives of the Bite of ‘83 would affect the lore and certainly would be a fresh take on the series. Not sure of how to feel about the Sun/Moon/Eclipse part, though. I agree that their teeth mean some connection with the Mimic, but Afton being the creator still feels a bit off.
This is probably my favorite fnaf theory. I love the idea of shifting our attention to other characters who aren’t apart of the afton family but were affected by the afton’s.
Honestly I can’t believe the daycare attendants were any important to the lore, I just thought they were side characters adopted by the community to make a subfandom where they’re in their own separate universe. I’m in said subfandom and I can confirm the fans are gonna be *all* over this ✨
FR!! The fandom be making funni lil animations (me) and fanfics, but now Matpat is telling me that our loveable boys are actually a HUGE part of the lore??
The one thing I like about matpat is how he can always pull a afton and always come back to fnaf. He never fails to connect the pieces together of this decade old decade series
i respect matpat simply because he has the most determination i have ever seen, he has to go through all of these games and find all these clues, then place them all together to find all of that, just for a video for us.
Another thing to add at 17:43 is that the M.X.E.S machine looks similar to the W.O.P.R machine from the movie WarGames (1983) which took place during the cold war. The machine was a supercomputer that ran war simulations which basically was the plot of the movie.
I really like the idea of Cassie’s dad being the sad friend of Foxy bro that goes on a redemption arc and becomes a technician so no one gets crunched by a fredbear again.
Honestly an interesting connection with the Bonnie mask. Assuming he was 13-17 in 1983, he'd be... anywhere from 40-60 during Ruin? Yeah, that easily adds up. I'd honestly be fully on board with Cassie's dad being "Bonnie bro" if it turns out to be true.
This is off topic from the comment, but for the gold plushies... There is a Freddy, Baby, Foxy, and "Golden Bonnie" Hmmm... I WONDER WHAT IT COULD BE? (To those who don't get it yet, a gold Freddy, like what the crying child is supposed to possess, a baby, Elizabeth, and a foxy, Micheal. You can tell what the bonnie is. I don't understand the sun and moon though.
Since Cassie’s dad is so heavily implied to love Bonnie throughout the game, could it not be that the security system is represented by a blue rabbit, similar to his favourite animatronic, because he was heavily (if not more) involved in the creation of the security system to block Bonnie?
Just finished watching the recent GTlive play through and I gotta say I can’t believe how much all of this lines up! Really amazing you managed to put so much together!! I can only imagine how satisfying it was to see it all come together!! 🎉🎉🎉
How about The Daycare Attendant being a creation of Henry instead of William? We saw Henry (or better said "Edwin Murray") being associated with the creation of the mimic. Due to The Daycare Attendant's design parallels to the Mimic, one could assume they were built by the same person. Also, creating an Animatronic that would serve the purpose of taking care of children is also something we know Henry did before (Marionette / Puppet). Why would William, who is known for.. well..- mudering children- build an Animatronic that, when working like intended (Eclipse) helps taking care of children and even protects them?
@TrueDxablo I can back you up on this one. The revelation that the mimic is likely burntrap means that the security breach trailer, where burntrap says “when I first found you, you were nothing” can take on a totally different meaning. I think it is the mimic repeating things afton told it in the sister location Bunker. He says he found the mimic, not built. Therefore the suggestion that it is Henry’s creation is likely
@@oomuhn8720 I would hazard a guess that trailer has been retconned out of existence. Steel Wool obviously changed the entire story of SB before launch as shown by the lack of Vanny showing up. I would throw out all trailers as evidence. If is not in the final game it's not meant to be used as evidence.
Just got done with the FNAF movie. Tearing up at the end and still can't get over the cameo ;) and stick around to the very end, spells something out like the mini games in FNAF 2
Am i the only one to get so happy when I see John in MatPat's videos. I remember watching John's video and how he hoped to talk to MatPat and here he is. In videos and livestreams. I even get emotional and so happy to see how for John is. Honestly so proud of him
Still on a firm stand that Monty didn't attack Bonnie, mostly because he didn't have his claws until after the transition aaaaand they said green paint was left behind (has to be an obvious cover) and his claws (even though he didn't have them yet) are purple, Monty is innocent I tell ya
One thing I'm kind of surprised about is how quickly the Stitchwraith was dropped. Don't remember if it was solved then tossed aside but it's been a while since it was brought up.
At this point it seems like the sitchwraith was used to establish some rules in the fnaf lore: That multiple souls can inhabit the same animatronic, that remnant and agony are two different things and that baby is a manipulator and the big bad. However other than that it was just used to tie the fazbear frights stories together and have a big ending.
My question is if the old FNAF pizzeria was built on top of Circus Baby's, and was then in turn built over by the Pizzaplex.. how did nobody notice? These were all well-known, prominent, popular places that cater to similar demographics. You'd think someone would have noticed that these three places all shared the same general location.
Yeah it's a little goofy, since for Henry to have built Pizza Sim directly above Baby's, it would have had to sink under. And then after that PS sunk and they built the pizzaplex above that. Surprisingly one of the most believable things for me in FNAF
@@earleschulz3031inb4 that sinkhole has the Fnaf 1-3 locations somewhere inbetween PS and Circus Baby's. No wonder nobody shut down the Pizzaplex. Fazbear Entertainment's been building bigger and bigger projects over the same plot of land for the past 50 years just because they can buy & cover up plots of land near the expanding sinkhole at unimaginably cheap prices.
@@earleschulz3031 maybe it's because the location of SBPW was only the underground section, the actual pizzeria was demolished, then Henry made a FFPizzaPlace, and _then_ after the sinkhole, we had the pizzaplex? sure it's still goofy but hey it kind of works..?
18:00 Matpat, just so you remember, that's also the same computer, or at least type of computer, used for Freddy's Repair and Upgrades on Vanilla SB. It even has the same sound.
Love the theory. Wondering if the past tense isn't referencing death but possibly a spurned or disturbed employee/friend of the family. Imagine loving something with your best friend and then you see his whole family falling apart, surrounded by the franchise you bonded over. Or finally working for the place you've been isnpired by for years, only to learn its shifty as hecc. I'd get rid of my memorabilia too.
I am curious about the beggining of the ruin, what made the elevator fall? and how was that the specific phone/radio/thing you get to call "gregory"(mimic) was just left in there for cassie to get?
Eclipse, Baby, Ballora, Puppet, and Balloon Boy have all always seemed weird alongside the others. Now there's enough of them that they feel like a "set" of sorts.
I love how the Mimic, one of the best abilities in FNAF World, is popping up later in the series as something super important. They might just be the same in name and not in function, but I still find it fun. I have to bring up that in Sister Location, Edgy Teen Narrator brings up that they found someone in the vents, no longer living. It's not a funny story, Hand Unit says, but it is a story.
I'd also like to point out that Gregory might not've betrayed Cassie in the end. During his speech, the subtitles split, and they took a darker turn. The mimic needed Cassie to turn off the security and planned to finish her when she arrived. When that failed, it realized she could turn on security, and plummeted the elevator.
And the mimic also probably realized that there was a chance that Cassie could've survived, so that's why it used Gregory's voice there instead of its own
Also the idea of Sun and Moon being the first ever characters and being theatre performers brings me such joy and pure happiness and also fits with their backstory a lil from The Bobbiedots story
I think Ruin’s ending is the same as Sister Location. Cassie got “scooped”. She’s been taken over by The Mimic, similar to what Ennard did to Michael. Except instead of getting turned into a weird Remnant skin suit zombie thing, Cassie was taken over through the neural chip that was implanted in her head at the start of the game. So basically what happened to Vanessa and Glitch Trap.
As ridiculous and insane as the lore has gotten, I do like the idea of focusing on the repercussions felt by other families in the wake of the Afton family, rather than focusing on the Aftons themselves. It's a surprisingly interesting direction to take the story.
I had a theory in my head that the wet floor bot thing with Rockstar Bonnie was a homage to the True Ending in FNAF 3. Deactivating all the wet floor signs causes the yellow glow in Bonnie’s eyes to disappear, just like how freeing the souls in FNAF 3 puts the animatronics to rest.
Regarding the part where the mimic was sealed up by concrete, I believe that was done by the construction workers after the mimic was delivered and told to rip the heads and limbs from old exo skeleton. In the epilogue of the pizzaplex story books, they were running away from the mimic as it chased the workers and the last guy yelled to the team outside to seal it up with concrete.
I'd argue that the reason for the AR Monty plush description is that it's the first collectable that you can get, and is referring to the fact that it's glitched out and corrupted, like all the AR collectables.
The idea of a mimic ai program being used to create new robots could even explain why the toy robots in fnaf 2 behaved the way they did despite whether or not they were haunted being so unclear.
You know the purple and red colour scheme? I believe that the purple represents the Aftons as it has in the past and the red represents Cassie's family like Matpat says where it's not AS focused on the Aftons anymore and it's showing what their actions did to others and specifically Cassie's family.
I love the "rivalry" between MatPat and Markiplier. It adds so much humour to both of their FNAF content

Nah this seems way too over thought
I think it’s because of her encounter with Monty.
also Monty was the animatronic that got the closest to killing her
@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868i think it could be possible that she knows because she doesn't have any reaction when she finds bonnie while she does in so many other events

i would
It would be a tighter and more coherent story lol
If that was the case, the games story would be alot easier to solve
I thought Matpat was ghostwriting for them already...
Scott needs to just give us a timeline already with an essay for every event cuz idk if theorists can take much more 💀
Another thing about jesters, they were also meant to kind of make fun of the king after he'd been worshipped all day to make sure he doesn't lose sight of the problems around the kingdom. Jesters got to say things that others would be executed for. Whether this is relevant to anything in terms of lore or not, it is kind of interesting.
Cassie specifically says her dad never told her what happened to Glamrock Bonnie. It’s implied he knew but she didn’t until we discover for ourselves.

Hmm, Cassie could have been lying in order to protect her father or they might not know the whole story. Who knows?! Awn7mFktpB4
I thought this as soon as he said she knew thank you for bringing it up!

It makes sense especially since steel wool wants to make a freadbears game and no one whould expect Bonnie bro to be important to the lore

I haven't been so mind blown in a while. Bonnie bro makes a come back.
WOPR WOPR WOPR WOPR, junior double triple WOPR
nice observation they do look pretty similar
that whole nobody-showed-up-but-Gregory-and-now-she's-trying-to-save-him bit is really wholesome
I really like the idea of Cassie’s dad being the sad friend of Foxy bro that goes on a redemption arc and becomes a technician so no one gets crunched by a fredbear again.
It's a nice idea, but the supporting evidence is pretty weak imo
@@knaughta.masso-kist5944 I said the idea is is fun, Not necessarily that it is possible.

Yea, the fact of Cassie's dad is Bonnie bro and if we get an age confirmation, I feel it's going to confirm certain timelines
i wont lie. this ties with Jeremy - Bonnie correlation. what if jeremy is cassie's dad?🤣🤣🤣🤣it only makes sense trully speaking.
Bonnie bro, I love that! Lol
@@WatchPoppy69 Jeremy was killed as a child and became Bonnie what?
Since Cassie’s dad is so heavily implied to love Bonnie throughout the game, could it not be that the security system is represented by a blue rabbit, similar to his favourite animatronic, because he was heavily (if not more) involved in the creation of the security system to block Bonnie?
The same system that held back the mimic as well
What if her dad posses the security system or like William afton is the security system
ôk
ok
Wouldn't make any sense, the techology is so old that he'd still be a kid-friend to Michael Afton at that point.

Mat is slowly descending into insanity as this game gets new installations
E
Slowly?
Nah bro he's gone insane since sister location this is all just the voices talking now
He is descending into madness 😮
This has been said so many times

Yeah..
@@alogarfen9 ah, thanks. I've watched all the lore videos but it's easy to forget stuff
the story of the stitchwraith was resolved within the books
My question is if the old FNAF pizzeria was built on top of Circus Baby's, and was then in turn built over by the Pizzaplex.. how did nobody notice? These were all well-known, prominent, popular places that cater to similar demographics. You'd think someone would have noticed that these three places all shared the same general location.
Yeah it's a little goofy, since for Henry to have built Pizza Sim directly above Baby's, it would have had to sink under. And then after that PS sunk and they built the pizzaplex above that. Surprisingly one of the most believable things for me in FNAF
@@earleschulz3031 For me the most believable thing is a massive American corporation being run by an insane man who enjoys killing children.

Love the theory. Wondering if the past tense isn't referencing death but possibly a spurned or disturbed employee/friend of the family. Imagine loving something with your best friend and then you see his whole family falling apart, surrounded by the franchise you bonded over. Or finally working for the place you've been isnpired by for years, only to learn its shifty as hecc.
I'd get rid of my memorabilia too.
I am curious about the beggining of the ruin, what made the elevator fall? and how was that the specific phone/radio/thing you get to call "gregory"(mimic) was just left in there for cassie to get?
the elevaor falling was probbaly just for jumpscare and the radio was probably just for convienience

A GAME STORY
A GAME STORY
Hey I just watched the fnaf movie and I noticed what you guys did. Nice acting!
Matpat's "Jester vs Circus vs Carnival" rant reminds me why I love this channel so much
Matpat: THE NEXT FNAF GAME WON'T BE A CARNIVAL!!!!!!
I feel like Mat usually overestimates how intricate Fnaf’s story is going to be
As ridiculous and insane as the lore has gotten, I do like the idea of focusing on the repercussions felt by other families in the wake of the Afton family, rather than focusing on the Aftons themselves. It's a surprisingly interesting direction to take the story.
I had a theory in my head that the wet floor bot thing with Rockstar Bonnie was a homage to the True Ending in FNAF 3. Deactivating all the wet floor signs causes the yellow glow in Bonnie’s eyes to disappear, just like how freeing the souls in FNAF 3 puts the animatronics to rest.
i didn’t notice that !! that’s cool
Bonnie bro theory is crazy wow
I just remembered a quote that I think fits with Ruin: "Deep underground where memories sleep, anger is restless and secrets don't keep."
Help wanted 2 proving his theory right:
The idea of a mimic ai program being used to create new robots could even explain why the toy robots in fnaf 2 behaved the way they did despite whether or not they were haunted being so unclear.
The Markiplier and MatPat dynamic in this video is gold 😂
Can't wait to see Mark lick a stick in his future episode 😂
@@AlfaFrostYTYES
You know the purple and red colour scheme? I believe that the purple represents the Aftons as it has in the past and the red represents Cassie's family like Matpat says where it's not AS focused on the Aftons anymore and it's showing what their actions did to others and specifically Cassie's family.
