Do NOT catch the pokemon in your stacked tasks. On novemer 12, we have Teddiursa community day. Then there will also be a 3x catch stardust bonus and you will get 2x candy and 2x chance to receive XL candy for catching pokemon

@@MikanBaldmiki in your field research tasks you can run away from the Pokémon and “Save” up to 100 Pokémon in that bar. Normally you want to save 1st stage Pokémon for that extra stardust like Kadabra. Poké Daxi has a video on it I believe 👌🏽
3:29 aside from being rare, Dragon grunts can give you either Dratini or Alolan Exeggutor in the main slot. But the palm tree is rare, so you shouldnt worry abt it.

I'm pretty excited for this Community Day Classic. I didn't have any luck for Shiny Dratini during its original Community Day and while I have gotten a couple since then, a chance to get more is still really cool. Plus, I need to get more XL candies for my Dragonite with perfect stats. I kind of wish that there was an experience boost during this event since Dratini can be relatively easy to get excellent throws on for me, but more stardust is pretty good too.

I just realized a tip, if you save your starmie from the research and don't catch it until the event starts, put up a star piece and you can get a lot of stardust from that. So if you have a starmie saved up, don't catch it until the event start. I think the teddiursa community day also has a stardust bonus so you can save it for that event too

Hi Dax. I don't know if someone has already mentioned this but the "improved spawns for rural players" you mentioned last time is already out in our area. From 0 spawns to roughly 6-10 spawns every time I open the app. Just in time for the upcoming c-days.
I think it’s been announced that in a couple weeks we have another Rocket event so if you do have a shadow, remove frustration during the event and then in December you SHOULD be able to get draco meteor.
We don't know if classic community days are included in the year end community day. I would still do this just in case. I hope they have them included in the December one though!

I finally got spawns at my house and on my block from this new map update, perfect time from dratini day. Ngl i made the loudest shriek ever when i saw a cluster on me
You guys always forget task snd hatched pokemon have different rankins and you can get decent ones with 10/14/15 or such too. The Rank 1 wild catch may be 0/14/15 for example but the Rank 1 from task, raid or hatch etc will not have 0 atk. So do all the task and wild catch as you may get a better rank one from task sometimes than wild catch depending on how hard you grind. I have a Rank 1 Shiftry from Com day but also like a Rank 5 from com day but a Rank 1 Lucario from Hatch. My Shiny Nidoqueen from Their event was also Rank 32 from Task. All Great League of course.

This is my first CD and I have the chance to borrow a go-tcha, but since i heard it has a 50% chance to catch successfully, im not sure if i should use it for catching or just to pick the stops, as i dont want to miss shinies/good iVs.
I did mostly well, although I am having second thoughts on the way I spent my dust. I have three 3* Dragonite (the highest being 98%) between cp3442 and cp3397. They are three of my four highest CP Pokemon. A 96% Rhyperior snuck in with cp3400. Should I have just powered up the 98% and got it really far up? I still have lots of candy so I just need to be patient and power them up in dribs and drabs when the dust comes in.

The reason you want the low attack stat is bc the cp will be lower without sacrificing any bulk, or tankiness. This means that the lower attack one can be powered up more times than the 14/14/14.

Mega level is dependent on the number of times you've mega evolved that particular Pokemon. If this Saturday will be your first time mega evolving your Zard X, you will only have Mega level 1 - which is still good, as you get +1 candy let catch. 200 energy is enough for first mega evolution. Subsequent mega evolution costs would be lower depending on the frequency of your mega evolving
You can’t jump to level 3 because there are cool downs between mega evolutions. After your first mega you’ll be base level and have to wait like 7 days to do it again. The cool down period shortens as your level raises. There’s base, high, and max. The first time cost 200 mega energy (as you see). That gradually gets cheaper as well. I would wait to mega since you won’t be able to do it for another 7 days.
Just putting this out there if you give you Dragonair a second charge move the second charge move will become Draco meteor when you evolve Dragonair into Dragonite.

No it can't learn Draco meteor. Only Dragonite can I believe. But Dragonair does learn body slam, Dragon pulse & Aqua tail I think.
