You play Pokémon go Jarvis??
@@BoopisMaximus just watch sad boyz and you will see lol
yooooo its Jarvis !
Hey I am a premium member btw
Yoo I didn’t know you played Pokémon go
The idea that XP is too easy is kind of annoying, I’ve heard a few content creators complaining about how it “ruins the game” and frankly I think it gives everyone a chance. People who don’t do this as a living actually get to rank up, it incentivizes people to actually go back and play and it makes it easier for people to level up their pokemon if they wanna do PVP or just have strong mons for gyms
Exactly
I think it definitely helps keep newer players. I've met a good handful in my community that started recently and may be in like the upper 30s or so and they feel at place with the upper 40 people.
yo we need to start making youtube videos
I recenrtly got back into Pokémon go and the one thing I realized is how easy xp is to get now, and I love it. A big reason why I stopped was how hard it was to level up back then, and things getting stale. I know people have been saying the game is stale for them recently, but I love all the events and opportunities to get xp now.
Also this guy is pay to win. I wonder how much he spent to get to 40 in 11hrs plus the other content creators probably dump a lot of money so it isn't realistic to say xp is easy.
All the shots of him walking past or away from the camera make me laugh because you know at a certain point he just has to turn back around and walk all that way a second time to pick up the camera lol
Observing people doing this in the wild is always hilarious
The XP required for post 40 is so ridiculously high I think rewarding players for playing the game well is more than fair. I wish theyd have these 4x events every year like this one!
Nah their lowkey not the best cuz I’m level 39 with all my hours of playing and this dude ut beat me in one day
very true - post level 40 is insane
@@Subjectedhomie also got hella pokecoins and lives in a pretty busy looking area
Level 40 isn't insane. I'm a new player and started three week ago. Never before played this game. I'm level 36 now!
@@juuliaronkainenhow do you grind xp like that
Now hit Lv40 without spending real money. Catch you when you finish, in 11 years.
Uh level 40 without money would take a similar amount of time it used to had the poke balls lmao
I just got my dad into the game and he hit lv 31 in 8 days from never playing any pokemon game before. He started the day after com day ended so there was no bonuses or anything.
I also went from lv 30 to lv 35 in that time
@@calebwhitefilleul7959 yeah but this guy got to lvl 40 in one day, that's totally unconventional xD. Lucky eggs and essence and pokeballs, it's a lot of spending....
Players try not to bitch about somebody using money challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
I know it’s an exaggeration, but you ain’t lying. My friend started to play PoGo when the game launched in 2016 and he hit level 40 without spending money in 2022.

For real! I hit level 40 in 2017. The grind was intense!
returning 2016 player here.. last time played was in 2017.. there is soo much more content now it's almost overwhelming but fun
I returned to it about about 6 years and could not believe the amount of stuff that popped up on the screen. Still annoying to play unless you're willing to spend spend spend. I mean I can't talk for everyone. But I don't really like to be walking with my head in my phone
@@jasonsmith-zh3cbI'm also a launch player who's recently come back.. I was level 15 when I gave up after a year of playing.. started again 3 weeks ago and I'm already level 27 and still trying to learn all the new stuff they've added. Really great game these days!
I remember in 2016 it was once you hit level 25 the speed in which you level up was so slow. Was just farming pidgeys and other easy evolutions to do a lucky egg with. Im level 41 now and I think over the last 2 years its just been a level a year roughly
The real challenge - hit level 40 without spending any money.
You forgot to add in less than 24 hours. 😂

I haven’t spent anything yet and I’m at 36 currently. I honestly don’t see any value in the Shop except for remote raid passes.

@@joeyplays317same I’m almost there 100,000 away to 40 since the start
11:55 Honestly, this applies to almost every game: there will always be grinders and people who spend their entire 24 hours on a game doing everything possible to get whatever is possible. Basically what I'm trying to say is that the x4 XP event was great for the casual players to catch up, hell I leveled up twice (glad I came back during that time) and I rarely played the game. It was a good incentive and closes the gap a bit between higher leveled players and the casuals. I hope for more events like this in the future, and a new level cap to increase incentives for the stagnant players at the top.
I went out for like 20 minutes a day on that event only putting a couple eggs on, helped me get level 40. Not spending 11 hours straight playing a game lol
Getting level 40 took me 6 years and you did it in 24h thats insane good job
People don't understand the pure joy we got from hitting level 20 in 2016, it took so long 😭
OGs remember the struggle trying to find a Pokémon lol, there weren't any clusters back then and you have to follow the footprints to find one.
This guy hit the level I’m at in under six hours while I spent literally years playing the game.
I started playing in may, and I'm lvl 39. I always knew it was theoretically possible to do it in a single day, but this is INSANE.
I started in February and I’m almost level 42. During this two week event, I leveled up from 39-41
I started in May too. Level 45 over here, closing in on 46.

As a 2016 pokemon go player, i miss the days i was in Long Beach, CA grinding to lvl up, and a wild charizard appeared. About 300-400 people were running from the lighthouse to the yard house. Good times.
Bro went past my level in less than twelve hours💀
When the game first came out, I made it to level 23 and about 50 Pokémon in my dex after about 4 months. About that time, life got crazy, so I stopped playing. Fast forward to January 2022. I’ve picked the game up again and have been plugging away. I am now L39, my dex is at 740/767, and I’m just 3M XP shy of L40. Can’t wait to make routes closer to my house.
Me too😭 I just hit 39 and I’m about to grind this week so I can make routes
The Paldean events were so good for grinding XP. I almost doubled the XP needed to go from 43 to 44. Just have to finish off the GBL battles.
I hit level 40 on my 365th day of returning to Pokémon Go with a new account, 6 months of that was super casual play, not even logging in everyday. The last 6 months were when u made most of the progress.
I went from 46 to 48 in this event. Best event ever!

There's a huge difference between rural and city play (I assume that's one of your issues could be wrong that or you're just going casually and there's nothing wrong with that)
@@BorderFreakyeah I play mostly casual but grind on special events like go fest. Rn I’m at 19.1m/20m for lvl 40 hopefully getting there by the end of the week
Also, spending a ton of money on lucky eggs, easy Pokémon for excellent throws, the 4x event, and not having to go to an 8 hour job.
@BradleyHigginbotham-nr4rq to be fair I'd imagine on the 8-10 days these bonuses went on for you'd have a day off (though I'd imagine grinding pogo for a whole day wouldn't be anyone's go to not to mention if you have kids, a disability, or as previously mentioned rural or any combination of the 3)

The real MVP of this video is your phone for not running out of battery!
Also, Im like 100% Niantic will never do a 4x XP and 4x stardust at the same time lol. They math wasn't mathin' at their hq but this will definitely show em
Check the game
It is pretty simple to get XP in the game, but not easy. The reward for excellent is spot on, most don't take the time to put effort in to catch...much less the effort to get the excellent. I see the reward for getting excellent, but I tend to aim for catching...to preserve resources. Having the Plus + does help with spinning stops, I am working on getting my resources back up and start working on excellent's.
I know the lower tiers don't tend to have the patience for going to excellent, due to the resource issue...most lower tiers have less than 1000 item storage. I also think many rely on the auto catcher too much, it's helpful but you miss out on a lot of XP.
14:58 "we're about 2.5 million XP away from level 50..." lol, that grind was taking a toll on ya
I just reached 40 and I've been playing from the beginning (with a 6 month hiatus). But I managed to do 37-40 super fast because of Go Fest.
I hit level 40 some weeks ago, and now I have enough XP (and more) to level up to 41 thanks to that event. I need the raids though. My excellents improved so much. I can easily do the three excellents in a row research now. Back in the day I needed a week and really good luck to complete that.
I literally hit level 40 the other day after starting the game when it came out lolol
same here, just this past weekend
Im at 39 on one account 34 on another 30 on another 27 on another and 32 on another
This is lowkey demoralizing when you just hit level 40 like 2 weeks ago, it shows how much lucky eggs can help lol. Great video
It’s mostly just the 4k xp combined with the Pokédex entries and excellents and then the egg is just the cherry on top
Lv 40 in 11 hours whilst I’m lv 26 in 2 months😂
wow it took me 5 years to get to level 40 i cant beleve you did it in 11 hours
Wait is Team Harmony the team name when you haven’t chosen a team?? That’s some S tier POGO trivia
Yes, some pacifist guy came up with the idea. Bare in mind, it limits your game-play. You can't enteract with gyms. So, no gym battles, no coins from leaving pokemon there, and no raids. Also, no training (no leader). This also severly limits the research you can complete. Sorry, but I think it's kinda lame.
So funny. “People can’t reach level 40 but I will” “I bought 1000 storage”
Stay Team Harmony for the giggle
So basically he has someone drive him around town for 8 hours. “Basically a fully time taxi not bad to the driver really good jig.”
But watching this made me happy I bought the auto catcher. Cause really all he did was ride in the back of the car.
All the “breaks were walking to a restaurant.” After noticing that, I’ll be patient with my exp. Not having to focus on my phone while doing the rest of my daily things is nice.
Then at the end of the day when I have time I can see what I got and go actively catch too.
I hit like 3 excellent throws a day so I'd find this impossible lol
“So ez to level up early”
you only have to spend money and play during a rare event with 2xp
Crazy how you got from 0 - 40 in 11 hours! Im sure you would of got maybe level 45 if you carried on.
TEAM VALOR ON TOP 👑
To 45 it would take another 46.5 mil more exp not to mention the tasks you have to do past 40

I managed to get to level 40 in 3 months! The double exp event definitely helped a lot. I also have the Go++ so it spins stops and catches pokemon for the passive exp too when I'm driving or at work :) It wasn't too difficult tbh
also, just keep catching pokemon and you'll be able to make excellent throws really easy. i remember at the start (4 months ago) that excellent throws were really hard but it's definitely easier once you get used to throwing balls all the time. i'd say 1 in every 5 pokemon i catch is an excellent throw
@@obxurityreally? I've been playing five months so far i got level 36
If you evole it will give 1000 xp without lucky egg, with a lucky egg you will get 2000 xp it will take some time but if you do that it will be more quicker to reach level 40 more quickly tho
To be fair to the players who hit level 40 in the first three months of Pokémon go...
1) There was no 'fast catch' (or if the glitch existed, nobody had figured it out). Pro Player BrandonTan figured out it takes a minimum of 16.5 seconds per catch. That means *at most* a player could get ~100 pokemon on a 30 minute lucky egg.
2) There were no extra xp events. The first community day was years after launch, and the first ever event (Halloween 2016) only featured extra candy - no extra xp.
3) There were no friendships, raids, routes, field quests or anything else to support xp gain. These were all implemented more than a year after launch.
That meant that the absolute limit of xp farming by catching, if you could land nothing but excellent catches, never miss and instantly get to the next pokemon was...~100 thousand per hour.
And there was No lvl 40 in the beginning
I'm struggling on level 35😂😂
11:57 This was filmed during a 4x catch XP /4x stardust event. Yeah xp was op this event. Don't suggest to Niantic that they should nerf xp.
What a great video. As always great content.
Niantic has no idea how to present a game to people who've been playing since launch and are at level 37 and people who do that everyday. The expected XP for level 60 is going to be beyond the reach of those level 37s forever unless they buff XP
When Niantic releases the next level expansion to 60 it would be cool if platinum metals were worth XP, helping anyone up on their Platinum medals gain instant XP
They won’t do 60
