Ok so I love physical contact but when you said "I won't touch you," I felt so relieved already. No one's ever told me like 90% of the things you say in this vid so I hope you know how impactful it is.
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm so glad I can provide this safe space for you. I made this video because these are the things I would want to hear in a situation like that. It's weird how most of the things I said are not rocket science but rather just stem from empathy, yet we almost never hear these types of words and messages in our personal lives.
I have Autistic traits, anxiety, depression and some OCD and every time I have meltdowns I never wanna show anybody, I want someone there but I also don’t. So this helps a lot because you are there but not actually here so it’s better in a way. I never like anyone looking at me crying and shaking and breathing heavily xx
This is the perfect explanation as to why I like this video too, someone is there for you but not physically there. Comforting the viewer without making them feel too vulnerable.
I understand, it depends on your relationship with that person. I want to be alone to not disappoint anyone or get disappointed myself. But I do want to get comforted at the same time.
I have adhd and sensory issues as well. I got really upset because i realized im becoming an adult and i wont be a kid anymore and the crying and feelings from that got way too much and i just fully had a meltdown and couldnt take it. This helped me calm down a bit and I felt comfortable to do what i needed (stim, cry, rock, get it out) and i normally dont even alone in my room. So thank you. Its currently 6am with no sleep but i think i can sleep now
I wished someone was so understanding like this instead of telling to not worry about [insert thing], or to not be sad, anxious or whatever, i'm sick of people being bystanders every time i get treated like a dog by someone or multiple people
Came across this mid breakdown looking for comfort and this made me feel valid for once,(I have Aspergers) people don’t understand why I act like a child and search for comfort but this video is so perfect. Thankyou
Your experiences are 100% valid. To others it might seem like you are 'acting like a child' but we know what a meltdown can be like and you're not overreacting. It's just how you are and that's okay. ♥️
i just had a meltdown that turned into a panic attack and this helped so much!! i have autism severe adhd, ocd and schizophrenia and things get really hard for me and push me to the edge lots of times but i'm so glad i came across this video You are doing amazing work thanks so much !!
i came across this video while looking for a way to calm down from my meltdown, and i'm so happy it did :] today i leaned that i have work tomorrow which means i can't see my friends, and because i haven't seen my friends in a while, it triggered a really bad meltdown. my stepmom only made it worse by repeatedly asking me, "why are you doing this?" and "think about other people for once!" sometimes i feel like no one understands what it's like to have meltdowns, and that you can't "control" it. this video is just what i needed tonight, it made me feel so much less alone and understood. thank you so much for making this
I understand you can't control a meltdown and you never know what might trigger one. And that it usually feels worse for you than for the people around you... Glad I could help you calm down and feel validated. ✨
Oh wow, man I'm glad I found this video because I'm HIGH FUNCTIONING autistic and I've been self harming every single night after work. Not to mention I'm a trained boxer beating myself up for toxic release. There needs to be more videos like this for people with Autism like myself because all of the other videos are starting to not help anymore.
I hope you can find healthier ways to deal with the overstimulation. No, what I really hope for you is to not get overstimulated in the first place. Try to be gentle to yourself, in every way. You really deserve it!
If people said any one of those things you said in the first 50 seconds of this video, I would actually _like_ and _trust_ people!!! *You are simply amazing* and if you ever wanted to know what an autistic girl like me felt during this video well here it is; I feel like crying happy tears, I feel like I'm safe with you and I even feel like hugging you. *I feel like it's safe to stim and be myself* 😢 Do you even understand what that's like? Thank you so much for this amazingly kind and honnest comment! I understand what you are saying. The words I speak in this video are so simple, yet we almost never hear them in our lives. Not a lot of people really take the time and make the effort to just be kind and understanding of what someone else might be going through. Luckily the internet allows us to connect with like-minded people so we can feel heard, understood and valued. Your message has made it clear to me that I need to make more videos on this topic. I definitely don't have all the answers, but I try to offer compassion and a safe space. Again, thank YOU. I hope you are doing okay.
I just recently was diagnosed with ADHD after not understanding why I was the way I was for so many years and I have strong suspicions that I'm also autistic after having multiple sensory meltdowns this week and this made me cry because it was exactly what I needed to here and having my emotions and how I respond to stressful stimuli validated helped me so much. You are a lovely and empathetic person.
Finding out you have ADHD and possibly autism can be a tough journey, but all we can do is be gentle to ourselves and realize our feelings/emotions/reactions are indeed valid. Good luck!
you have no idea how much this helped me tonight- i have autism and today as been overwhelming. being able to stim and get all of my bottled up energy and stress out was so relieving !! keep doing what you do !!
I hoped this video would be meaningful to those actively looking for a video like this. I'm glad you were able to get your built up energy out by stimming! 🤗
Thank you so so much for this. I’m currently having a meltdown from just too much input and while my wife is at work I don’t have anyone to help me...I don’t want to be completely alone with no distraction but usually ASMR to help you through this kind of thing includes a lot of face touching. I normally love that but I couldn’t stand that right now. Can’t say how grateful I am
Thank you for checking out my channel! Mental health is a big part of the reason I started my ASMR channel, it's so important for your quality of life. ♥️

Usually I dont like physical contact but when I start crying and fully breakdown thats when physical contact I'm ok wiv like a hug or soemthing like that, other times I will go all angry, scream ect and try not to but can hurt myself and or others so although I probs wont like the physical contact it's best to have some kind of physical contact just make sure in all situations that I'm not trapped/cornered cuz that makes things worse for me and be prepared for music most time giveing me headphone or if im too up there just put on some kinda of music I like or a sensory video from yt and try help me focus on it cuz then i chill out and can just lie there which calms me very quickly and then after the meltdown best to keep it on for atleast 30mins more to make sure I'm fully calm and I just wish I had someone like u who would help wiv that. So thanks cuz u also made me chill
