They're made like this for a reason. The hole allows the air/water inside to get out so the body can collapse and expose the hooks.
They could do away with the hole, which will firm up the body and prevent it from collapsing to expose the hooks.

Cute video. I’d advise using a Booyah poppn pad crasher. The style is most versatile You can pop it, walk it it goes right through cover (The regular nose frogs tip gets stuck on pads and weeds) And they hold together way better. I rarely squeeze my frogs. I personally never cut my legs it’s absolutely insane. Most bass will hit something skirting amongst the surface their opportunist. Big bass Like to make sure before they eat. A pause of a regular legged frog allows the legs to expand slowly just as a real frog does if you observe both. There’s no bigger and stronger bass then froggn bass ✌️🫡🎣 Happy Fishing

Also, if this annoys you so badly, you can always cut a lil slit in the frog, insert a lil strip of pool noodle foam, and glue it back shut with a drop of superglue. That way, the frog always has some residual buoyancy, even if it completely fills up.

If it's your first baitcaster I'd recommend getting a daiwa tatula 100 ct. I see some on sale right now for like $115 you can get two for the price of one of those other reels.
and I'll guarantee you'd be super happy with them.
BUT if you are looking to get a dc reel, both of those are massively top rated reels. I've never used either, but I've held them at the store, and seen a million video about them. If I got one, I'd probably get the curado.

I have that same frog with the lifelike legs, I hate it. Can’t walk it like the frogs with silicone strings.

Dude squeeze the side under the hook 1 squeeze and your done. Or take a sealer and dap it with toothpick bottom hole and hook inlet hole. Happy hunting

    Scum frog launch frog.
    Or the og scum frogs.
They r not corked. The material itself float.
    So no pissing on u.
If u get the big foot ones with paddle feet order replacement legs from blitz frogs. They fit great after a bass rips urs out
