@@aspenhen7198 Having travelled in the car numerous times, I got to be aware of how it is designed and how it functions. Hence, it became relatively easy to see the difference between both the steering wheels.

It’s not just the current presenter. The editing is on the bad side especially at the beginning. And the fact that Andy Wilman isn’t producing this is just bad.

The guy in the video isn’t the Top Gear TV presenter, it’s the editor for Top Gear Magazine, which is separate from the show
Dude was so talented that he converted a RHD to a LHD.
the ambassador keeps switching between the grand and mark 3! when the car is about to get destroyed its a grand and when its getting destroyed its a mark 3.
between 0:08 and 0:09 the car he's driving changes, look at the steering wheel, dashboard, rear window, and door card, they are completely different from one shot to the other. he also managed to convert it from RHD to LHD. would be better if they made this realistic like the original advert

i am a fresh new owner of Peugeot 307 Sporty 2002.
yes, i bought the car about a month ago as our first car and didn't regret it at all.
then this 308 video passed me randomly and dang, Peugeot's keep up the artwork until these days. thankyou for the beautiful video.

Its even funnier when you realise this was an Indian ad for a car they never sold in India
It has never been an Indian ad but a French one .
They don't even keep the Ambassador models unifined.
(I understand it took a few prop cars to shot an ad , but at lest keep all the prop the "SAME" model and spec. You can't just keep switching between the older MK3 and newer Grand)
...and the finish work is too good that it lost it's mojo from the original. (It never meant to be "prefect" , but a cool DIY work.)
Last production was 2014 of model grand 1800 diesel variant.
But it made me sad to watch that he converted a fully comfortable sedan into a hatchback .
One more thing AMBASSADOR was a rear wheel drive car , and that hatchback is front wheel drive i don't know how he converted the entire machinery.

A big mistake!! Look at the Ambassador in 0:05, it have the last generation model's fiber class bumpers and body coloured grille, but in 0:10 the car he crashed have the old generation model chrome bumpers and steel grille???
Means there two different cars were used?
Tried to ruin a good ad thankfully this will be long forgotten and the original will live on.

My brother used to say my first car (1.4 civic IS - the one with the long boot and real fake walnut interior) looked like the car in the original advert after I 360 spun it in and out of a hedge then carried on driving it for another 10 months because I was skint.

Hindustan motors AMBASSADOR is one of the safesty sedan car in the world.
Once it was road king in India
Foor its look and build quality.
Ministers, beurocrats , industrialists business man , even police and army official used it.
But unfortunately those tiny match box captured the market of whole sedan and this company had to shut down its production and sold it Peugeot.
Still you can find it on Indian roads spcl Kolkata metro city using as taxi and calcuttians love for AMBASSADOR is still present .

I do like it, but I agree, there should be more accent on the cars. Also, I don't like it when they knowingly and willingly choose to do something that will destroy great cars like the RX-7.

The current trio was great. Evans they should never have picked. Unfortunately Leblanc is leaving. The show last two seasons was was great and better than it has been for years, including the last couple of years with the Grand tour three. There's a reason why the Grand Tour sucks. People are overestimating what TG was. Boring, overly-scripted repetitive stuff with old-man penis jokes.

The finished product looking only like an approximate silhouette of the Peugeot was what made that original ad feel truly 'Indian' somehow. The ending of this one just feels like the 'BBC version' of India. Looks better, feels worse.
