Same to you Bro. When Mayweather was fighting Dela Hoya I asked myself, "who is that nigro"? Here in the Philippines we call African/Black American as "nigro".
You should see his earlier fights. He was a Monster. It took someone with Plaster of Paris in their gloves to hand him his first loss. He violently avenged it later.

Just a fun fact for those that might not know this was while his Uncle Roger was training Floyd. Roger concentrated more on offense. After this fight his dad became lead and said he won't be getting hit that much again. 💯

agree the one sided commentary was too much, they didn't give Cotto the credit he deserved. He bloodied Mayweather and had some great rounds, you wouldnt know it if you just heard the commentary without seeing the fight, pathetic coverage.
Loud noise hitting gloves is mostly what they hear. Floyd injects his hands to get them numb so he can swing as hard as possible with no fear. It's dangerous and an unfair advantage, a perfect fit in Floyds bag of tricks.
Mayweather is unbelievable, what a boxer, When Cotto began using the left hook and jab he began to get in there repeatedly, the left hook and jab is how you take a philly shell apart. One of the best fighters Mayweather encountered.

Floyd Mayweather is a complete boxer. Excellent jab, can lead with the right hand in various ways, can lead with the left hook, lead with an uppercut. He's so versatile with his offense. Not to mention his conditioning is top notch!
The only "weakness" of floyd is lack of combinaison. I know, I know, he hits hard, fast, but he is not really commited to offense most of the time. He has an extraordinary defense and he is incredible at counter-attacking, but like GSP in MMA, he is prone to choose low risk tactics. It's effective, he wins fair and square, but you cannot really say he beats (physically, not only mentally) most of his opponents.
A great fight ruined by the commentary, I'm all for giving credit where credit is due and Floyd is a spectacular fighter no doubt. I always said this was one of Floyd's most toughest fights of the latter part of his career. I think Floyd knew Cotto's fighting style would be problematic for his own style. Re-watch his fights, you'll definitely know who he was. Love you Floyd.
Probably my favorite Money Mayweather fight, along side his performances against Marquez and Canelo. Gatti, Corrales and Burton are my top 3 Pretty Boy Floyd bouts.
@Damak Damak Yup, even if Marquez didnt jump two weight classes it wouldn't have mattered, JMM might have won 2 or 3 rounds instead of getting shut out. I believe he was #6 or 7 p4p when he got in the ring with Floyd, he is a future hall of famer, arguably one of the best counter punchers of his era and Mayweather put on a boxing clinic after 21 months away from the ring. His performance that fight was ridiculous.
In every Floyd Mayweather fight you watch HE IS ALWAYS COOL CALM & COLLECTIVE & THE WAY HE LOOKS ON THE STOOL AFTER THE 1ST RD LOOKS THE SAME IN THE 12TH RD
I agree. The guy called "The Colonel" was a paid sycophant for Floyd in this fight. 3 rounds in and he's already written off Cotto. Every fight that he's an announcer he always latches on to a specific fighter and basically dismisses the other no matter how the round goes.
