Thank you mate…that’s really appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful. If your doing this installation don’t forget to test every tube first 👍
Thank you mate and good luck with your project….well worth it. Didn’t need any anchors as used drywall screws at every section so spread the load comfortably. It’s a personal choice but mine are still standing 2 years on. Hope that helps. Remember (and can’t stress this enough) to test every lamp before fitting.
Thanks for your kind comments @dalturbo and glad the RSJ Fireboarding Video was useful in your work. Still some more work to do on the garage so watch out for some more videos soon.

I’m wondering if they are screwed onto the ceiling joists or just on to the sheet rock panels If so then I’m assuming that they are very light in weight I’m thinking about including these installations to my garage make over business Thanks for the video Sanj 👍
You’re welcome mate and thank you for the message. They are screwed directly to the plasterboard (sheet rock) and very light considering how bright they are. You can see I’ve installed it by myself and the tower platform makes it easier and safer. Hope the garage business goes well 👍
To be honest I don’t know if they are more expensive to run as I’ve never checked. They are LED within the tube itself so would expect them to be the same cost as regular LED and cheaper than say halogen or fluorescent but also a lot cooler to look at. Hope that helps mate

Good question. The lights aren’t dimmable but the illumination is great - especially if you’re working on a vehicle. Great lights, doesn’t dazzle and not regretted buying them 👍

Good question. Difficult to say as they’re working at the moment, but had a problem when installing where one tube was faulty which tripped them all out. That’s why I say test each one before installing.
If one tube is faulty then the whole set up will trip. You have to dismantle the entire set up to find the single faulty tube. Don’t believe anyone who tells you otherwise

This is actually the best installation video I could find, especially for ceilings that you can't zip tie to.

Starting our hex lighting project today. Your string idea saved the day! Thanks for sharing the video.
Great stuff. Hope it goes well. Remember to test each tube…will save you a lot of hassle if one tube is faulty. Enjoy the lights 👍
Great good job
Thank you mate…hard work but worth it in the end 😎
Great video. I'm actually starting on mine this weekend. I noticed that you didn't use the drywall anchors, did you not need them?

Also don’t forget the string line - makes for a nice straight job 👍
@@sanjdesigns awesome, thank you for the feedback. I will definitely be sure to remember to test every tube before fitting.
@@sanjdesigns Will do 👍

I got mine from HEXA Lighting. Great quality and brighten up my garage very well!
Thanks for letting me know. I'm really impressed and everyone is surprised how bright they are. Well worth the investment
Assuming you wired this into your standard lighting circuit rather than have it plugged in by a 3 pin plug in the end?
Yes mate. 3 pin plug was just to test each tube. Once completed was all wired into a standard lighting circuit with switch and breaker
Are these more expensive to run than standard led bulbs?
To be honest I don’t know if they are more expensive to run as I’ve never checked. They are LED within the tube itself so would expect them to be the same cost as regular LED and cheaper than say halogen or fluorescent but also a lot cooler to look at. Hope that helps mate
What is this kind of LED lighting called?
Thanks for you question. It’s called hexagon or Hexagrid lighting. Hope that helps
Hi. How can i obtain the apparatus that combines the lamps? Good luck.

isn't this kind of ilumination too much light? I mean does it mess with your eyes like dazzling

Hi Kushan, thanks for getting in touch. When you say specification what do you mean?
Thanks
If one burns out do they all?
Good question. Difficult to say as they’re working at the moment, but had a problem when installing where one tube was faulty which tripped them all out. That’s why I say test each one before installing.
@@sanjdesigns every last one or just the ones down stream from the dud?

How tall are walls?
Hi mate, outer bay height is 2.5m and middle bay is around 3.5m…. plenty of room for a car, SUV or a van 👍
How can I contact you I am interested in your lamps
