Where can I get them?
@@yadiercollazo3566 you can find them at www.getlitledlighting.com
Awesome work mate. What clips did you use to mount them to the ceiling?
Awesome! I saw a picture of the finished garage and it looks amazing. I definitely want to put these in my home garage

Great addition to a perfect build! Well done man
Thanks so much mate!! Almost there!
Thanks for this vid- from Arizona, Usa
Hi! Nice set up there ! Where is the location of your power source ? center of the cealing ? Is it a 120volts ? Thanks ! I'm trying to figure out where put my power source
Looks soo good mate! Well done
thanks so much dude!! I just set up the cabinets too so that video will be coming soon!
hi mate,
nice garage mate looks amazing. I just want to ask how do go about drainage inside your garage when you wash cars? do you have any drains on the floor that I may have missed?
i wanna do something similar to your setup. but worried about drainage when washing cars.
😍😍😍 Absolutely Stunning
Hi Roy, thanks so much for the kind words I am rather chuffed with how it turned out!
Great garage, well done. How do you find it working under the lights all day, are they too bright?
Wow, that takes it from posh home garage to professional detailing studio; great choice!
(As a side note, you're getting more comfortable in front of camera too - well done, you're a natural!)
Thanks so much! It really does change the look of the whole space! So glad i ended up taking the door opener off the roof and replaced it with a jackshaf opener, just wouldn't have been the same! And I do feel more comfortable! That comment means a lot, thank you!
I was planning on running the Lutron Maestro LED+ Motion Sensor Dimmer Switch ?¡ No Neutral required. What are your thoughts on that?
Lights camera action best video so far
Hey thanks for that! Appreciate the kind words!
Amazing work mate well done
hey thanks so much! can't wait to finish now, almost there!
hey mate did you guys just connect using 1 of the connection points. I know the instructions state 3 connections should be used?
How long and wide is your garage ceiling & how many hex’s did U receive when u purchased them?
Mine is a standard double garage 5.6x5.5m
Very cool, how many lumens and what kelvin are they?
Where do I find them?
Can you provide details as to how you connected to the power source? Did it require more than one outlet? How long of a power cable do they provide?
Looking very much forward to the reveal. I better not find out your a “bunk” detailer! 😂👏👍
Haha thanks mate! Few little touch ups and I think the space will be ready! I hope I don't find out im on either lol!
Look very nice!
Cheers! Really appreciate it
Hello, I bought a 45 by 14 foot one. It says you have to plug it into 7 different ports at the same time. Do you need transformers or do I connect them directly? I have connected it directly from a single output and they explode...
Do you or anyone you know have a video of how you wired it? I know how to wire and replace my existing light but someone said you can’t splice the 2 power sources. Thanks!
Which kit did you buy from getlit? How is it holding up?
How do you attach the lights to the sealing?
i got the same lights as yours and they always trip of safety so i took them off. can you send me wiring details of how they were wired mines just sitting in the box
Follow up 1 year later ? How they holding up ? any stop working etc ? Customer service ?
Did you but these LED Hexagrid from somewhere here in Australia ?
If so where did you get them from?
Is there only one power cable needed to power up the whole grid?
How do you wire it all in??
Where did you pick up the holders for the polishers and all of the other items on that well. Looks really clean.
Hi Andy! Hope you had a good Christmas? They're from a company called Poka Premium based out of Poland but depends where you are they'll have a distributor you can purchase from. I can help if you need. Cheers
That roller seat! Where did you get that?
Do you just screw into drywall? No studs?
Nice garage wish u luck
thanks so much, appreciate it!
How do you get power is a plug 🔌?
Hi mate hope you’re well amazing fitting honestly, you guys killed it! Just wondering if these lights are Australian standard and also the amps that they use?
Hi mate! Really appreciate the comment! Thank you so much! The lights are just your standard 240v 10amp can be hooked directly to power 👌
nice set up ! currently debating on getting this but have 19 feet ceilings. are these able to be anchored down a few feet? thanks mate
Hi! Yea im pretty sure these can attach to just sbout anywhere ive seen mesh false ceiling been used before.
What if you start in the middle
Where did u buy those lights from?
Good looking lights. Do you know if they are dimmable?
Hey thanks for the comment! Really appreciate it! Unfortunately it's a case by case situation, I tried to have them dimmed but it just wouldn't work BUT other people have successfully done it so it doesn't hurt to try!
Hello. May I ask you if there is any other way of fitting this particular light system to the ceiling as I have been asked to fit one exactly the same apart from the fact that the ceiling is a suspended ceiling with those flimsy 600x600mm tiles. The only fixing points available are the suspended ceiling grid frame. I was wondering if it can be fixed using adjustable steel rope wire so it remains hanging on wire. Thank you for the video. Looks fantastic.
Hi Yusaf! Hope you are well?
These lights are particularly light and you could easily hold them up using plastic cable ties, there's a loop around the Y connectors that you could utilise .
Hope this helps!
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio I was just talking to my customer and mentioned to him that I am waiting for a reply from someone on UA-cam and at that exact moment I received your reply. Yes, knowing that there are loops at those key points is very helpful indeed. You could not have timed your reply at a more PRECISE MOMENT. Once again thank you very much and all the best in garage improvements.
@@yusafkhan9347 good timing indeed I'm glad I was of assistance and anything else don't hesitate to ask!
Great Job mate! Love it! Can i ask you something. How did you fit it on the ceiling? I saw you used drill but is the a specific olace were the screws pass?
Hi Haris! thanks so much and the lights come with screws and clips to attach to the root then just a few extra ones around where the lights connect for added safety. Cheers
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio Thank you :)
Absolutely no problem at all! Take care mate.
what is the name of the clip that you've used?
Are they all ran off a single power input or do you have multiple outlets feeding several sections of the grid?
G'day Patrick! All the lights are run in series of 5 banks and then run into go a single light switch. Havs a great Christmas! Stay safe.
Love your work man! What's the thingy that you use to attach those lights to make a hexagon?
Thanks so much Alvin. Really appreciate that! They're just connectors! Come with the kit they're like a Y shape and there's corner ones at i think 45 degree angle.
Aight mate thx a bunch, keep up the great work! Looking forward for more vids
@@Wuanjink no worries at all mate, any more questions dont hesitate to ask!
👍
Hey mate, how does it hook up to the mains power; do they all connect into one big light then a single cable into the mains or does each section have a mains connection?
Hey mate my electrician plugged them into my existing light switches and tested with absolutely no problems but you could have each bank on its own switch i guess but these are all connected to a single light switch.
Prestige Detailing Studio nice! Were you attaching to a wood roof or plasterboard?
@@charles321 yea just the weatherboard ceiling! No dramas at all they're so light.
How many lights did you get? What were the dimensions of your setup? and what was the cost?
There was a total of 113 lights and total dimension was 37sqm or 400sqft and its was $1500USD
Well Kelvin in the temp not the brightness. So there is that.
So sick - back of the garage door, anything that can be done to make it more black? It’s the only thing bugging my OCD 😂
Hey thanks so much, yes the door will be getting a coat of paint! It's on the list of final touches.
Prestige Detailing Studio love it love it love it, it’s inspired me to go over my already fairly tidy garage to fix all the little things that don’t make sense / bother me
@@rch13z thanks much, this has project has been a dream of mine for so long im pretty stoked to be honest! That's great! Everyone needs their happy space!
Looks nice but isn’t Dark ?
Where can i buy this ?☹️anyone plzzz
Where did you find the Hexagrid lights from?
im trying to find an australian based retailer / store.
www.getlitledlighting.com they're biased in Brisbane I believe!
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio Cheers
@@AridersLifeYT all good mate, anymore questions don't hesitate to ask!
I hope you can help me I just installed the Hexagon lights and they are tripping the fuse. However, the tubes for the rectangle are coming on. Do you have any opinions as to why?
My thinking is it looks to me some of the tubes aren't all the way set so I'm gonna have to re-secure them from the ceiling and test them and re set them. I'm hoping that not to be the case.
Hey mate where are you from?
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio from the USA.
Ok could be a couple things, these lights are 240V and another is have you one power out per bank?
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio btw I figured out what the issue was. I had to take all the lights down and install them on the ceiling again. It has taken me 9.5 hrs. But I'm finally done.
Oh thats good news you have them working! Always best to test each bank before installing them on the ceiling.
Do these plug in.. or hardwire
Either way. It's up to you
What do I type in to find this product. ..really want these lights for my future detailing garage in Cape Town
G'day, you can go to www.getlitledlighting.com and they ship worldwide.
Wow, thanks for getting back to me. ..Go Well with your business, you just got a new sub...✊
No problem at all my friend, oh wow thanks so much! Welcome!
👊
Hi mate, ripper setup! I'm the bloke who commented on Facebook and wound up ol' mate who was getting triggered by americanisms!! hahah
G'day! Thanks so much mate! Ohhh yea "How are you Doing?" Didn't realise that was such an American thing to say lol had a good old laugh about that one but definitely can't please everyone!
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio hahah absolutely, I had no idea either. Anyway, I've subbed your channel mate. Keep up the great work!
@@OzSawdustMakers thanks mate! Appreciate the support!
Where did you get the lights from mate?
Hey Mitch! They're from www.getlitledlighting.com
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio thanks a lot bud. Great vids 👍🏼
@@mitchlyons8086 you're welcome mate, cheers!
Why not including the link were you bought the lights from ? 😭😭😭
www.getlitledlighting.com I did say where the lights from from. but that website right there!
how much were all the hex LED lights?
There were 113 lights and all up was $1500USD or at the time about $2100AUD
@@PrestigeDetailingStudio how big is the garage ceiling and how much of it is covered by lights, trying to gauge if I need to go edge to edge or can I have a 1-2 foot perimeter of no lights
@@dynastywoodworks its 37sqm or 398sqft and the lights go from edge to edge! Just worked out that way but there's a foot gap at the back of the garage
A roof is on top of your house. A ceiling is above your head......
Where’s the lights from ?
Hi! The lights are from www.getlitledlighting.com. they're Australian based company but ship worldwide.
Prestige Detailing Studio how you finding the lights so far ?
I've only just installed them but they're super bright and the way they're diffused and cover the whole roof they create almost no shadowing and i think they'd even light up interiors really well when the doors open.
How many times did he say ‘Triangle’ and there was not even 1 in the whole video🙄
Did you wear the girlfriend leggings on this video. lol, good work on the lights though
😂😂 yea I didn't have anything else to wear! It was laundry day! 🤣🤣 nothing can stop a video going ahead but! Thanks for the comment, appreciate it!
