They didn’t pick leaders based on their skill, but rather their ability to, well, *lead* and make decisive moves. All SPARTAN-IIs are rough equals to each other. Jerome is notable because they’re all notable.
He is a badass but masterchief has not putten in a battle scene like that yet so master chief is definitely more badass. This video was super awesome ❤️. And also i am proud of 343i because this is the second best game they created after infinite. They sort of have the same story but some people think the banished were first seen in halo infinite. @@Alexroa50 Sam wasn’t a leader. The leaders were John, Fred, Kurt, and Jerome.
In any future halo installments where he is re-integrated with the new Mark armors we need to see him getting used to the new advancements.

The player makes the battle scenes that's why we don't see master chief doing this in cutscenes
