1:11 i still love the way the theme sounds more urgent than normal, reflecting Barry's desperation to catch up to Zoom and get Henry back.
He still took the time to suit up, which if he skipped would give him a genuine shot at catching up to Zoom since they were at pretty much equal speed at that point. Barry was arguably even slightly faster after the speed force trip.

I went to a con where Shipp praised Grant for his part in this scene. From what I understood, they didn't film this scene and the opening of the next episode together. So Grant, had to put himself into Barry's devastated state once they started shooting the next episode. That is some real incredible acting.

I am guessing that Zoom is envious of Barry's life. Barry has friends and family, and Zoom has no one close to him. He believes that Barry would be just like him if he grew up under similar circumstances. Zoom was forced to watch his father murder his mother, and then he had no one to love and guide him as he grew up.

@@Unversed333 That does make sense. Zoom's childhood was destroyed when his father murdered his mother. Barry had Joe and Iris to take care of him when Henry Allen was framed for Nora Allen's murder. Henry and Nora were also good and loving parents from what we've seen, and they gave Barry many cherished memories of his childhood.
Zoom didn't even give Barry a chance to speak, which shows how much he wanted to kill Barry's father

OR at least tried too. Try something like damn just stand there and watch it happen just like he did in season 3 against savitar when he was getting ready to kill Iris.
