Said to, expected, could be, might, likely, potential, rumoured to, speculation ...... well, that sums it up. Title "X-M5 exposed" is clickbait. (What they don't want you to know is that they don't know.)
I don't give a rat's ass about vlogging / video. I just want a compact 26mp go-with-me-anyware camera for still photography. The film sim dial is also useless for me. I am deep into the digital darkroom. Again bugger vlogging.
It sounds like you're focused solely on still photography and not interested in any of the video or vlogging features that many cameras come with today. You want a portable, reliable camera that prioritizes high-quality still images, without extra bells and whistles like a film simulation dial or video capabilities. Your priority is having a camera that works seamlessly with your post-processing workflow in the digital darkroom.

The one shown is an XT series. I could speculate what it might look like, but that would expose the truth. My best guess is that it will look like the X-M1, with 26MP, and without silly things like the macro focus button. Inbuilt flash replaced with a pop-up EVF? .... who knows.
Still the worse AF on the market. My A7iii that came out on 2018 has way better AF than any Fuji in existence.
Fuji's autofocus may not be the best compared to others, but it's continuously improving. Different systems suit different needs, and Fuji has strengths in other areas like color science and handling.
To be onest, my fun camera for dailyfun is the leica q2, there is autofocus not existing 😂, but it makes so fun to use it and got my best pictures with it
