I Totaly agree, e-scooters are definitely making it big nowadays, they're small, compact and easy to carry. If you work in the city where traffic is bad during rush hours or anytime of the day this is a handy transportation for you guys. I like your videos Man thanks
City Rover has it on sale right now for 689 usd. Just ordered it to cover my short commute. Once I learn the ropes then I will upgrade to a 500w dual motor scooter like the dualtron
That's the YJC S5 scooter. In US it is sold as the City Rover S5. I have one. Not too bad, but not as smooth riding as the Xiaomi M365. Definitely faster than Xiaomi, even with 1000W custom firmware. Top speed is actually 32km/hr once you unplug speed limiter cable in the right handle bar.
aragorn318, no, I wouldn't say the S5 is better. They are very different. S5 is more portable, faster, and rides more like a skateboard. It's fun. The Xiaomi is WAY more smooth, stable, and refined. Xiaomi is also quieter and just feels more solid. I like both, but I can see why scooter companies choose scooters like the m365.
Well I like acceleration and fast speeds over long distances. Which one has longer battery life? I ride my M365 with 200CFW and BMS107 and the battery life is very short. And less than 50% battery and speed really suffers. Also, I got tired of punctures and the constant inflating so I replace for solid rubber tires. But the solid rubber tires are very hard and Xiaomi has no shocks
aragorn318 The S5 battery is better than m365 at max speed. I run dual motor and level 3 which is about 20mph real speed. I ride 9 miles to work easily with a good climb at the end. Both can make it, but S5 has more power at the end for climbing last hill.
If you think that’s a fast scooter, you haven’t seen nothing. There’s scooters out there that literally go 95 km/h. (60 miles per hour). My scooter is a 3200 watt and it goes about 85-90km/h easy. It’s literally as fast as a car driving on the highway. It feels like your driving a very small motorcycle while standing up though.
is it reliable ? how many km range ? and off-road ? in the rain ? how do you change both tires ? thanks a lot this one looks much more convenient and reliable than the Nonebot ES4 with its 14kg and not reliable at all after 3 months lots of parts are breaking down...
Great video, but I wish they would make a scooter where you would be able to stand with your feet side by side A regular standing position, be better on your back you wouldn't feel twisted, or a collapsible seat
The ES4 is the better option for long commuting you have 28miles of range and if you buy a extra battery on top of the 2 that already come with it you will go 40 miles no problem. So about a 20 mile trip each way would be your max if you dont want to possibly get stranded. I dont know about anyone else but that is more than enough range for me shiiiiiit
I tried out small-wheeled scooter and it only works on flawless, smooth surface. If you hit some dirt, sand or small rocks, etc. it's very unstable and you may very well end up falling off. I recommend at least 8 inch. wheels.
Thanks to you, I ended up buying “SWAGTRON” not very fast, not a dual motor like the one you have here. I definitely wish I had waited and got a fast one.... I think I definitely overpaid too!
Yep electric scooters are the future, even in countries where they won't allow them people are just buying them and using them anyway. But the only down sides to them are easily tipped forwards if you don't use them right, also small wheels only takes a small pot hole and you could be over. So larger wheels would be better with pneumatic tyres.
I agree. I got a MiniZum from Zumaround recently and I feel really safe on it. It's not nearly as compact as my previous kick scooter, but I really enjoy using it.
Thanks mate the video was perfect i have watched loads of bad ones but that was mint i think i like it . electric scooters are the way forward for future transport the only issue i have is without really having riding one as i travel on my bicycle and always find bumps in the road bigger tyres to keep from tripping but still id have one lol .
yes I have a question why do your stairs in your country have ramps on them I've never seen that before I live in the u.s. you know that's a skater's paradise
@@BrownEye OH... that makes since it would be nice if the usa had them cause we have to carry our bags and bikes up stairs by hand.I WOULD RIDE A SCOOTER down those ramps and really go fast.lolololo ✌✌love your country👍looks interesting.
For a daily this is more convinience than the other big scooter.but for safety reason, i will recommend you to give other scooter a try.you will feel a lots of different. For me , dualtron still the best even it got banned by singapore.
First of all, excellent review and very professionally filmed and edited. Five and a half inch solid tyres; however, would have about the same grip as a banana skin. Very dangerous on anything but the driest of pavement. Great weight for a dual motor scooter but I wouldn't be happy doing 40 Km/h on one.
@@gamingwithrich7098 is faster. Cheetah can run 60 to 65mph but the speed record is 75mph for a Cheetah 🐆. And the rion is limited to 80 it can reach 100mph.
Hi is the model S5 and who is the manufacturer contact details? We are setting up shop in Valencia Spain. Any contact details welcomed. Thanks best of luck.
E scooters are huge here in Singapore , i have one that goes to 35 kph , but it is bigger and more solid for a heavy weight like me. That one looks great for kids or light weights , but how is it without any suspension ????
The dual motor scooter has a suspension system and has a weight limit of 100kgs. The scooter has crazy torque can climb really steep hills without slipping.
And here in germany they are struggling with the law about escooters...germany really lost his advancements in technology , we are literally stagnating in every area...
Yes, I was really weird going up & down the slope at the beginning. After playing over a week we can balance fine. The trick was putting all the body weight at the front makes a world of difference.
Will you do 80mph on the rion re90.
Sorry but I want to live 😂

Brown-Eye You too brother!
Rocking the Seiko, good choice! That scooter was fast, made the guy on the bike look like he was standing still!
Cool video. Serpentza pulling up in at the end was great also.
Hey I love your Channel keep up the good work
Thanks for being awesome. Really appreciate it bro !
Great video. Spenza cameo at the end
Thanks for being awesome bro.
larger wheels?
And great product demo! Carbon fiber, dual motor, brake light, running light, speedo... nothing is missing
Enjoyed the ride Browneye. Added to the bucket list.
Great fun indeed, have an awesome vacation mate !

Interesting info on the S5 in the States. It's a case of speed vs stability on uneven pavement.
I currently have Xiaomi. Would you say that City Rover S5 is the better scooter overall?

Search up Dualtron on Google, dual 10” or 11” motors hitting speed of 60-75kph depending on the model
What. S the name of this product ? It really look. S nice and i. L like to chek and try to buy one😊
Love the horn sound 🤣

The problem with this is, it does not have suspension or absorber. So over the usage, it will damage the body eventually due to lots of vibrations.
I am moving to Beijing next week how viable is a scooter to commute to work?
If it's a few miles commute it should be fine. Just make sure you can pass security if you deride to take it on the subway.
I didnt hear the price and range of the scooter. I hope you can open it up to check for safety fuses and bms inside.
Hi there. Where can I get the front light ? It would look awesome on my ebike.
will airline co. take it as shipment while traveling? thanks
No, cos the lithium ion battery is a fire risk.

Personally I like the Ninebot ES2.
Brown-Eye thanks, have a good weekend

Nice, but getting a Dualtron Ultra
brown-eye, how did you pull off the cool speedo overlay on your video when you were driving the scooter on the road?
I use a Sony action cam which includes a program with GPS functions.
Destination taiwan if u have iphone get vidometer app unfortunately cant find similar app for android

What did the people in Singapore do with their scooters after they changed the laws???

we have dualtrons, but it's bit expensive

Always the case, speed vs battery life.
Swagtron uses cheap Chinese batteries, not LG or Samsung is why.
Where I can order a scooter like the one you bought for your kids?
It's call "City Rover S5" in North America. You can easily find it. But the price is still high.
Brown-Eye what is the price in shenzhen?
It's around US$550 in Shenzhen, China
You really need to try riding the dualtron ultra or at least the speedway V models. those can go long distance and its way faster than this one.
