    If you think that’s a fast scooter, you haven’t seen nothing. There’s scooters out there that literally go 95 km/h. (60 miles per hour). My scooter is a 3200 watt and it goes about 85-90km/h easy. It’s literally as fast as a car driving on the highway. It feels like your driving a very small motorcycle while standing up though.

    I Totaly agree, e-scooters are definitely making it big nowadays, they're small, compact and easy to carry.

    That's the YJC S5 scooter. In US it is sold as the City Rover S5. I have one. Not too bad, but not as smooth riding as the Xiaomi M365. Definitely faster than Xiaomi, even with 1000W custom firmware. Top speed is actually 32km/hr once you unplug speed limiter cable in the right handle bar.

    • @BrownEye
      @BrownEye  6 років тому +1

      Interesting info on the S5 in the States. It's a case of speed vs stability on uneven pavement.

    • @aragorn318
      @aragorn318 6 років тому

      I currently have Xiaomi. Would you say that City Rover S5 is the better scooter overall?

    • @nswenson520
      @nswenson520 6 років тому +5

      aragorn318, no, I wouldn't say the S5 is better. They are very different. S5 is more portable, faster, and rides more like a skateboard. It's fun. The Xiaomi is WAY more smooth, stable, and refined. Xiaomi is also quieter and just feels more solid. I like both, but I can see why scooter companies choose scooters like the m365.

    • @aragorn318
      @aragorn318 6 років тому +1

      Well I like acceleration and fast speeds over long distances. Which one has longer battery life? I ride my M365 with 200CFW and BMS107 and the battery life is very short. And less than 50% battery and speed really suffers. Also, I got tired of punctures and the constant inflating so I replace for solid rubber tires. But the solid rubber tires are very hard and Xiaomi has no shocks

    • @nswenson520
      @nswenson520 6 років тому +2

      aragorn318 The S5 battery is better than m365 at max speed. I run dual motor and level 3 which is about 20mph real speed. I ride 9 miles to work easily with a good climb at the end. Both can make it, but S5 has more power at the end for climbing last hill.

    is it reliable ? how many km range ? and off-road ? in the rain ? how do you change both tires ? thanks a lot this one looks much more convenient and reliable than the Nonebot ES4 with its 14kg and not reliable at all after 3 months lots of parts are breaking down...

  • @dramacentral5776
    @dramacentral5776 5 років тому

    The ES4 is the better option for long commuting you have 28miles of range and if you buy a extra battery on top of the 2 that already come with it you will go 40 miles no problem. So about a 20 mile trip each way would be your max if you dont want to possibly get stranded. I dont know about anyone else but that is more than enough range for me shiiiiiit

    Yep electric scooters are the future, even in countries where they won't allow them people are just buying them and using them anyway.
    But the only down sides to them are easily tipped forwards if you don't use them right, also small wheels only takes a small pot hole and you could be over.
    So larger wheels would be better with pneumatic tyres.

    e-scooters can go up to 100km/hr now... I wanna get the Zero 10x, goes about 65km/hr

      In Singapore we used to have Dualtron Ultra moded to go 150km/hr on GPS.

    You really need to try riding the dualtron ultra or at least the speedway V models. those can go long distance and its way faster than this one.

    This is not the fastest scooter in China, by a long shot. I ordered a 1600W Uberscoot (which also comes from China) on Amazon and I can get it between 30-35 mph.

    It seemed very unstable every time your stunt double reached a landing when ascending the stairs. Not just once. It tried to veer off

      Yes, I was really weird going up & down the slope at the beginning. After playing over a week we can balance fine. The trick was putting all the body weight at the front makes a world of difference.

    • @AlanMay64
      @AlanMay64 6 років тому

      it is unstable due to it light weight, scooter deck / body frame need to be solid heavy to be stable when you ride in faster speed.

    not good enough. the handle bars doesn't fold. i have one of these, where it doesn't fold always hits and catches on to things.

    I just biffed it today on a scooter, while going at least 35 mph. I think I broke a rib. But only rolled away with a scrape on my elbow. I hit a curb, head-on. I went from riding a scooter to airborne, fast. Luckily I'm a soldier and my roll was beautiful. No protective gear.

    Cool video I'm thinking of buying one . Was your friend filming the whole time or was it your son that was surprising at the end

      Prices should come down soon. So far so good. My son served as a stunt double and my camera man. Thanks for being awesome !
