All I'm going to say is that Lalo Salamanca is mentioned in one scene in Breaking Bad. I think you're going to like his character. He's my favorite Salamanca character.

Man, I am glad I watched this show live and could find out about a brand new character gradually by just watching the show and didn't have two dozen people hyping up the new character dropping all sorts of hints and describing their nature.
Two dozen? You're underestimating the power of the "imma spoil Primate, watch me" squad. Their numbers are great and their desire to destroy any semblance of surprise that Primate might experience is unmatched.
Yeah its so annoying. You can tell immediately which characters never come back and which characters stick around based on loud mouths in the comments.

I've been waiting for you to finally meet Lalo! As people have said, you've heard his name in Breaking Bad. You recognize that actor because you saw him as Jack in Hawkeye. Yet another BCS Emmy-deserving performance by Tony Dalton. Simply incredible. Great reaction, as always!

Finally, Lalo Salamanca has appeared and let me just say.
He’s the only character in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul that speaks Spanish fluently, as you’ll see
And Nacho's father, but yeah it's shocking how many of them that are not good at speaking fluent spanish
kinda like Werner and his boys speak actual native German and whenever Gus or Mike say something it's the most uncanny and clearly rehearsed delivery...because they use phrases that a native or fluent speaker would use but they pronounce them like they never heard them. I imagine the script writer had a German consultant and the directors/actors didn't.
Mike yelling "Kommt runter!" (when the guys were fighting after knocking down the pillar) was just weird idk...
So I gotta ask: Is that noticable to y'all who don't know any German? Because I didn't notice it in that capacity for Spanish...I always figured that Gus' Spanish felt very rehearsed and unnatural but as for Hector, Nacho and really all the mexican characters I never noticed.
I know right made me so mad none of them speak Spanish right😅
@@AgeofJP Let’s just say, that learning any language it’s difficult; however, Spanish is one of the hardest languages to learn, not only for the pronunciation aspect, but also, the meaning and the way someone uses the words.
Despite that most of the characters have a Spanish that doesn’t sound like a Mexican accent, they do their best and that’s something worth mentioning, but despite the flaws, the way they speak Spanish it has it’s charm, specially Gus when he yells “Don Eladio está muerto” that monologue it really gives the intensity of the moment and it was delivered perfectly
@@alfiro-morgif3908 Correction: Spanish is (like most Romance languages) not a very difficult language to learn in terms of grammar and constructing legible sentences but learning it to the degree that it satisfies native speakers and stops them from nitpicking about the minutiae of pronunciation and cadence... impossible!

I love this show but honestly, it's a bit of a stretch that the prosecutor would be bullied into dropping the case like that and that she wouldn't recognize Jimmy's voice considering she is pretty familiar with him. They wouldn't have to dig very deep to discover that the letters and Jimmy's church were a scam.
Theres a lot of that in Breaking bad too... plans that could only work if characters knew the future... how every possible scenario would play out, or exactly how someone would react to a lie or a scam. But whatever. Shows still good.
