Ty for the review I just bought the P11 4 GIG the slow charging is more concerning to me since most of my headphones are Bluetooth. Basically, I'm supposed to keep my legs up three hrs a day and get stuck at Dr's office's where I don't have access to my killer desktop 5900x with a 6800 video card. This tablet should be good for Monopoly, Uno and Spades.
Thanks for the review, I Just ordered one with 128GB and 6GB ram on sale for $229- I was surprised by your harping on the absence of a headphone jack, it's now 2022 (!) three words- Bluetooth, Bluetooth, Bluetooth. I have a pair of SoundCore Q20 over the ears, that sound amazing, and also have like an 8-10 hour battery life. You summed it up well, by calling people like me out, I'm 60, have an iphone Xr, A quadcore i7 Laptop with 16Gb and a touch screen, and a hot rodded desktop with a 28" monitor...this is something that has a place in between...I don't game really so, couch surfing while the wife watches her shows at night with the dog in my lap, Traveling or on the go as an easier to read media portal, A Netflix/Prime/Disney+ streaming device, a digital photo device, a Kindle Reader, and for a song as far as $ compared to an ipad..of course I already want the keyboard cover, so you have to add that into the price, but it's $65, look what Apple charges for theirs!...again, Known Quality for a very reasonable price point. Really looking forward to it...
There's only one problem with this tablet so far. The screen resolution of 11 inches puts web pages and videos out completely. The sides of everything cut off to allow for the screen height. I don't know why Lenovo didn't see this issue before launching. I should have considered this as well. I've had this tablet a few weeks and so far it's the only issue I've come across.
Amazing review! I'm considering getting the P11 or the Samsung A7. I'm really only intending to use the tablet for watching movies (e.g. Prime, Netflix and Plex). Which one of the two would you go for? My only worry with the Samsung is the 32GB storage limit (64GB version not sold in the UK). I'm happy to buy an SD card, but just worry if the 32GB isn't going to be enough after system updates, etc Thank you for your help and again, amazing review!
i wouldn't spend more then you did for this kind of tablet but this tablet have pen and dock support for keyboard and charging station. It is nice as multifunctional device and is one of few tablets to support Googles kids space. I don't really think that you can find any better tablet or laptop for this price.
5 volts 3 amps is basically quick charge 15 watts but this tablet is capable of 20 watts from what's listed on gsmarena. Thankfully I do have a 25 watt charger. I'll be getting this tablet and testing how fast charging is between the two. I was gonna go for the tab s7 but I figured best i get this and save some u this for movies, basic media consumption and social media
Excellent review! Let me "take advantage" of your professionalism: today, which tablet would you choose between a Galaxy Tab S5E and a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite? Thank you!
Actually, when these were being manufactured, not that easy. There is a shortage of chips. The new Dell docks I ordered for the office don't have analog headphone jacks either because of the chip shortage. It was either delay shipping critical business parts or wait for X months for a headphone jack that few people use.
@@mkejake6673 Well thanks for the informative response! I didn't know this but it makes sense. I have been dealing with many shortages of things with my work as well. Tough times, tough times
@@HardwareSense oh wow! I'm contemplating between the two but I think I'm leaning on getting this Lenovo. Also according to their USA website there is a Memorial Day coupon available...70 dollars off the 128gb variant!

I agree. Stupid to lose the earphone jack. Another dumb innovation by Apple. You can buy cheap adaptors which convert the usb c port to a jack. The better ones add a usb c port, so you can still charge the Tablet. I hate bluetooth. They need charging too often, and sound quality poorer. They drain your device charge, and i hear they are not secure. I have poor hearing, so i need earphones or head phones on every device.
Hello what would you recommend for school (not taking notes just pdf and surfing the web) and youtube? Lenovo P11 or Yoga smart tab? Thanks. Yes indeed, the consumer is the one that matters, those companies need to sure us.
Great review! Does the screen have any form of protection? Like Gorilla Glass

Great review friend. If you have FM Radio and it does not have a 3.5 jack, how do you listen to the radio?
Download “tunein” app from the play store

Have used the P11 Plus model from Lenovo powered by mediatek and that's great
How much is that? And ur configuration?
no , p11 plus is also powered by a snapdragon, where did u purchase that?
There are actually 2 versions of the Plus, one with Mediatek G90T and another with Snapdragon 750G

$50 cad difference between 4gb ram vs 6gb ram. Same 128gb storage on both. What do you recommend?

Do you have recommendation for a compatible keyboard/case? The choices seam to be extremely limited.
Yes they are unfortunately, the original one from Lenovo is the best choice

Can you get it to display on a TV with a USB-C to HDMI adapter?

You could do screen mirror or Chromecast if you have a TV that supports that.
Android 10 has a desktop mode. Motorola also made by Lenovo supports it. It may become mainstream with Android 11 or 12

Full HD, it is Widevine L1
