I am a Dutch person who never cared for eurovision and has never voted on any of them. This might be my first year ever where I would vote. Serbia's song is so powerful and touching. BY FAR my number 1.
🙏
please vote🙏🏽
I am glad that you can feel her emotion. It's universal message of struggle and finding hope in the end. Greetings from Serbia 😊🇷🇸
I am a dutch person, that's all you had to say as you thought it was that important
Better version for me is *MARKO BOŠNJAK-MOLI ZA NAS* ..(Pray for Us)

Teya Dora is a Berklee graduate! Also, Ramonda is a flower that’s known as “phoenix” amongst the flowers because it can survive extreme drought and needs only a drop of water to “rise from the ashes” again. It is also a symbol of peace in World War I in Serbia 🌸💜 Teya do pobede! 🇷🇸
Simbol pobede!
Here in Boston and Massachusetts we are rooting for her so proudly!
@@stefanzaric5213 Love thiss! 💜

Balkans killing this year Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia!😍
Teya Dora is pure art, poetic 💜 Hope Europe recognizes the beauty of Ramonda 🥰
Her voice is incredible. I didn't like this song at first. But over time it landed in 1st place for me ❤️
She really is the dark horse this year. The song has so much depth and the meaning behind it is incredible. She's been sounding amazing at the pre-parties too, so definitely will be a slay on the Eurovision stage if they get the staging right!
It taps in one of the quintessential slavic emotions - suffering. It's pure Slav magic. Beautiful.
Even though I am rooting for my country obviously this is my favourite Slavic entry.
Spot on , cheers
My absolute winner ❤
Thank you Teya Dora with this enchanting and epic song .
12 points for Ramonda.
Congratulations Serbia .

jedva cekamo da i vi posaljete pesmu neke naredne godine!!! imate pretalentovane izvodjace
Teya Dora is amazing. ❤
Her voice is quite special. ❤
Here is the meaning if you’re interested.
1. Ramonda is a very rare purple flower that grows on Mount Rtanj in Serbia and is known as the “Phoenix flower”. It can survive in harsh environments and can “revive” itself after dehydrating with only a drop of water. It was used as a symbol of the Serbian people in WW1 during which Serbia lost 1/4 of its population.
2. There are several lines in the lyrics that reference the famous exodus of the Serbian people (along with the king and army) who travelled by foot over Montenegrin and Albanian mountains to Greece in the harsh winter of 1915. Around 240.000 people died on the journey and were buried at sea off the coast of a Greek Island in what is known as “The Blue Tomb” or “the watery grave”. The line “there, under the water, everything is dead silent” is a reference to that. Furthermore, another line states “there’s nobody left to guide me towards the morning star”. The Danica star/ the morning star is a staple symbol in Serbian mythology and it symbolizes returning home. In the song it shows the utter desperation and uncertainty whether our people would survive or return. Then you have “The world burns, every flower dies, where have the purple Ramondas vanished” = where have all the Serbs gone? The song ends with “A single purple Ramonda rises from the ashes” symbolizing hope and just like the Ramonda flower resurrects, so do the Serbian people.
The lyrics are written in a way where there are clear references to historical events, while also leaving room for a more personal and individual interpretation about inner hope, healing and finding light at the end of the tunnel when all seems hopeless.
Your description is just great ❤❤❤❤❤
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this fantastic explanation❤
Serbia is sooooo good this year 10/10, my 2nd place 🇷🇸🪻
No other song this year has that emotional - melancholic but still powerful - quality. And the singer‘s voice is amazing! 💜❤💜
My favorite this year def
Good Luck Serbia
Serbia should winn this year.
I saw her live performance in the Netherlands (eurovision in concert), she was very good
We can vote tomorrow so maybe she'll have a chance!
It's a very good song!Bravo Serbia!❤
Thank you for all kind words! Here is an explanation for the flower Ramonda: Natalie’s ramonda possesses a remarkable ability to revive even when fully dehydrated (just with one drop of water) and demonstrates adaptability to harsh environments and it represents hope in bad times. As a result, the flower represents one of the national symbols of Serbia, reflecting the resiliance of the Serbian struggle in World War I (we lost 30% of the population) and symbolizing the rebirth and revival of the country.💜
I can't wait, you are so good, my favorite this year is Teya Dora. 💜🌷 Thank you so much, love from Türkiye❤
She sang this song perfectly live, because it sounds better than the studio version. Her vocal range changes throughout the song, and I think it's beautiful.
Go go Teya Dora❤🇷🇸⭐️
12 points for this quality song from greece!!
As a Serbian I am so proud of her. And I am really thankful for you saying all this wonderful things about her. After she won here in Serbia a lot of people were mad because she was not the fan favorite. Which resulted in her getting a lot of hate. Its truly amazing to see how much support she is getting from all over the world now.
im serbian and this song brings me to tears... its so emotional, and has a very deep meaning for us
This is song for next 100 years
It doesn’t even matter what happens in Eurovision- already winner in my book
Love Tey❤ love song Ramonda❤🎉love hers singl,,Dzanum"!!!!❤🎉😊
Loved your comment "It has a Celtic feel" :D There's actually a region of Serbia (Eastern part) which has a traditional music that sounds like Celtic music
...which is a part of Serbia both Ramonda (Rtanj) and Teya (Bor) are from... 😉
One of the earliest Celtic settlement on their way to the northwest Europe was on the teritory of today’s Belgrade on the Danube river.
We lived together 2000 years ago. We have similar traditional sounds and simbols. It's not proven yet if Scordisci were Celtic or Serbian tribe S(e)rdi(ci) (just badly transcibed in Latin). Srbli-Trbli (Srbi in Greek Tribali) are Thraco-Ilyrian tribes mixed with Celts and some north Slavic tribes.
As someone from Serbia, I’m so happy we’re sending Ramonda to the ESC. Lyrics have so many layers and meaning (both historical (WW1, 11th November) and personal, also fun fact; ramonda serbica is a plant that grows only in some parts of our country). Even if we don’t place well in the end, I’m happy we’re sending these messages to the world. 💜
Oh it is for sure a 10/10 song. I love Ramonda so much!
I love you Serbia, the best this year ❤
she's my winner too❤ fun fact, she studied at the Berklee College of Music where she shared classes with Charlie Puth!
This song is just so beautiful, for me it's 10/10.
Our beloved vocal coach agreed...GIVE HER THE TROPHY rn pls :}
I'm sooo glad that you like our Teya 🇷🇸

This song has even deeper meaning that stranger might not understand trough reading lyrics but it is heavily referenced trough it and video as well - ramonda is Serbia's endemic flower, known as “phoenix flower” due to ability to resurrect with a single drop of water, which became a symbol of Serbian suffering during the Great Retreat of the First World War. Thousands of Serbian soldiers were "buried" in sea near Vid, Corfu, Greece, place now known as Blue Tomb.
Rooting for Teya Dora this year, the girl has a world quality talent 😍😍
Ramonda is flower that grows only in Serbia. It has very patriotic meaning. Thanks for your review.
It grows in other parts of the Balkan as well (Bulgaria, Macedonia and Northern Greece). It was discovered by Serbian botanists Pancic, but it grows in other parts of Balkan as well, not just in Serbia
Song is about hard times in our lifes when we die out inside. She used flower ramonda in chorus becouse that flower, which can be found only on mounteens in central balkan, are also known as "phoenix flower". Even if it dries out only few drops of water and he comes back to life. Ppl going trough hard times are clear metaphora on that flower ability. Ramonda flower also represent resurection of serbia during ww1. Ppl in Serbia wear that flower every 11th november just like brits wear poppy flower.
Thank you for loving our song. Big hug from Serbia ❤
Thank you so much for liking our Teya Dora! She’s so unique. Best regards from Belgrade, Serbia. ❤️❤️❤️
It is absolutely gorgeous, one of my favorites this year, and never fails to make me feel emotional.
This girl and this song are oustsanding! The message is beautiful too! I love it, it is my top 1. Serbia for the win! 🤩🔥♥️🌸
She studied at Berklee, so she is trained for this
Everyone who wants Georgina to sing a Cover of this song, give a Like to this comment

Hvala mnogo na izuzetnom komentaru i analizi!
Dugo sam čekala baš Vaše mišljenje! Pozdravi iz Srbije!💖
The 🎉❤Serbia #1
This song is soo underated, its 20 in odds like what? For me this song is just magical and stands out in a year full of up beat pop songs for me irs top 5 or evan a winner 💜🇷🇸
Who the hell cares about those stupid biased odds. This is the essence of Eurovision. A song that makes people realise what peace, resilience, hope, inner strength are as values. It goes beyond being just a representative, it tells a deep meaningful story, it's being sung in Serbian language and the song itself takes you somewhere unexplainable, well I think it's heaven, it makes you float above the horizon. This is a timeless entry filled with excessive beauty and no matter what odds or the results say it will keep us feeling that magnificent emotion of hope again and again in this deteriorating world for years to come.
Lila ramonda is a flower that represents strenght! It can recover with few drops of water. Its was a symbol in Serbia for strength and peace in World War 1.
The rock on which the singer is lying at the beginning of the video represents the island of Corfu in Greece,
where Serbian soldiers recovered in the First World War, after retreating across Albania.
We call the sea around the island of Krv the Blue Tomb, because many soldiers who died are buried there.
In Serbia, the Ramonda flower is a symbol of rebirth and rising from the ashes. Also Ramonda is called phoenix flower.
The people have gone through and are going through many misfortunes and sufferings, but they always hope that everything will be fine.
This song is dedicated to all those who sacrificed themselves for the benefit of new generations.
Oh God how much I love this song and everything about it! And I love you too Georgina! My winner this year is Serbia followed by divine Portugal 🤍
Yes, she managed to use so many layers that go together, Celtic, Balkan Ethno, classical instrumental, literally a fusion of so many elements that are just palatable.
Definitively my Favorit this year ❤ Teya🎉
this, Belgiums and switzerlands song are the only songs from this year I‘ve saved on spotify, I was looking forward for your reaction to this😍
Thank you for your reaction. I really appreciate your opinion. I like this song so far. And the meaning of the song is wonderful. Her voice is great and so emotional.
Teya Dora, the singer, is actually sort of known in Europe, more specifically the Balkans, for her song "Dzanum", it's also very beautiful
Love from serbia ❤❤❤❤
She is in my top 3. Love love love this song.
This song is very sad, probably the most sad song this year, and it's such a shame that peoole don't understand it and don't feel it. It's like a bloody lullaby, but also it give us a hope.
lila ramonda is very resilient flower ( it needs just few drops of water to rise from the stone )...there are many levels of the song message, ( anti war song, related to Serbian symbol in the 1WW) but this is the story of human everyday struggle as well, when we need to be warriors, to win ourselves and rise from ashes like lila ramonda...Thank you so much for your comments💜🌸
As I see it, Teya is actually singing a new version of "Where have all the flowers gone" and if you now that song, you will understand that Ramonda is an anti-war song. Ramonda is the flower which symbolises the end of WW1, and Teya is saying "Where have all Ramondas gone" as once did Marlene Dietrich.
Oh finally! Been waiting for this reaction ❤❤ it sure is a very nice, emotional and touching song. Whether she wins ESC 2024 or not she's already a winner to me. One of the ESC songs that I've repeated over hundreds of times after Loreen's Tattoo ❤❤ Knowing the true meaning emotions behind Ramonda makes this songs even more valuable.
Lilac Ramonda is also symbol of truce after the WW1 and also Lilac Ramonda is also known as phoenix flower. When it looks completely dried out and dead, only few drops of water can bring it back to ''life''. This is the reaction I was waiting for two months :) Greetings from Serbia dear Georgina!
Excellent description. You’ve picked up immediately on the depth and emotion of this song, even the Celtic/ Serbian ethno elements. This song is about resilience. Lilac ramoda is an endemic flower that can be revived with one drop of water.
We knew it will be your cup of tea darling 🥰 so glad you like it
Kisses from Serbia 🪷

YES YES AND YESS!! We have THE winner💟💟
A bit surprised to see no comments here yet!... so let me start by sharing mine. Loved your reaction! I am no vocal coach (😉) but I could hear all the vocal points you commented on almost from the first listen. The song is so deep, atmospheric, emotive and beautifully emotional, touching. Love its layers (personal and modern but also historic and national). The message: I read "hope and peace". Through love and resilience. Thanks again for your comments. Enjoy every stripe you have on! Sending virtual Ramondas from Serbia 💜
You dont see comments??? Wtf??😅😅😅
@@Slobodan-ju7ru The page displayed none at the moment when I was commenting.
The songs meaning, and the symbolism is pretty deep too. It does have both a haunting, but a hopeful meaning. Its about personal and national resilience and revival, the Serbian Ramonda purple flower blooms after a few drops of water, rises again like a phoenix, even if its completely dried up. I am so glad you like it! 💜💜💜
Georgina thank you for your beautiful reaction, thought did you know that Celts actually established capitol of Serbia Belgrade...that's the celtic sound you recognize 😊 And thank you everyone for your comments. Ramonda flower is Serbia's national flower, amazing plant 😊
Beautiful song and voice love sebia this year
