i met someone playing warlock on pub , he didn't pulled the creeps, no stack, only some wards and hiding in fog while spamminy 3rd skill the entire time. and it worked lol

There is a time when farming hero is better than farming creeps, I do that all the time as support player but you know pub game, you cant get the full chemistry with noob core 😂😂😂

I noticed the upheaval potential when they added the damage on top of the slow. Still rarely saw anyone maxing upheaval on early game.
I also combo it with vessel.
Yeah people play warlock normally for his heal, but the uphill buff is so fun to play around. I spammed him for a while, abusing this shit, had my biggest winning streak with 14 wins in a row recently. Just a monster.
Bcos it's pos 5 not 4 on most game so defensive not offensive on laning

I had 9 game Warlock streak maxing Upheaval, didn't realize about the Shadow Amulet. I made Drums -> Solar Crest -> Boots of Bearing. Solar Crest the Golem and activate Drums and with the lvl 15 talent the Golem has +200 attack speed.

How do you come up with all those ideas and how many do eventually fail or not make a video? I get my 5 friends together pretty rarely, but I want to get them curious about dota and about all the cool strategies that are out there.

I came up with the same idea a while ago. You just need to have good game knowledge. If you want another idea to try, I can recommend jungle sniper.

I did this exact strat the last warlock game I played (including the shadow amulet), but I didn't do it on purpose as a "plan", it just seemed the obvious way to play the lineup.

that changes everything. upheaval now has damage not just slow anymore.
Warlock q + e is broken now, add a shard for W its even more fun, u can also shadow blade while channeling E, so this means u can upgrade that Amulet into Shadow Blade later on

Upheaval is one of the stronkest spells in the game, and maybe the least used. I thought that even before they added damage to it. I even skill it first for rune fight, ez fb. Becomes 3 times more op against melee heroes.
Just thought about this - I think warlok+shadow demon would be a nightmare on lane.
yeah with the attack speed talent it is a monster on any high ground fight and especially for pushing racks

All you need is to switch the lane and let pudge come to safelane. Fat boi works well against spell channeling hero. Brain is needed too to be good at doto, not just fast hand
this is how I always play warlock. peeps always pinging why i dont have 2nd skill. they dont know how upheaval rules.
i ve been using this before they added the dmg, u ll get blamed early, but once u lvl 6 ur ss and upheaval combo is insane cause none gonna have fstaff and bkb yet
now you can combine it with blood grenade in early game
yeah i dunno sometimes my teammates mad at me. but when times come just aghanim shard needed, we can comeback the match lul.
