This was a PB and Jamaican Record for Bolt at the time, improving on his 19.75 from 2007.I think he looks a bit disappointed here, as after an 100m record of 9.72 the week before he probably felt he could have dropped a 19.4.He dips a bit early which probably cost him a high 19.5.He goes through 100m in 10.1: post olympics he ran in Lausanne going through 100m in 10.0 and finishing in 19.63 but easing up waaay before the finish.

If only he was at the same level of fitness in 2009... The 100m and 200m records would definitely have been lower
I think this was the 4th fastest 200m at that time. Johnson's 19.32, Xavier Carter's 19.63 and Johnson's 19.66 we're only faster.
@@TheSriram28 Commentator says that Tyson Gay ran 19.62 the previous summer, making this the 5th fastest at the time.
@@Talvikoala Probably even 6tg or 7th fastest. Because Spearmon has a 19.65s also which was before this.
@@TheSriram28 Yeah, out of all times. I'm guessing the commentator was speaking about him being now the 5th fastest person at that point.
nice find, never seen this one
Always save his best for the moment that matters the most
That guy in blue in third had the guy in red he just gave up
Bolt wasn’t winning in 2007, but all of a sudden he was blowing the field away in 2008?
He won silver in World championship in 2007 when he was only 21. You think that's not worthy enough
had a pb of 19.75 in 2007 and was the world championship silver medalist at age 20-21... not like he was a nobody
Es el mundial de atletismo?
Athens wasnt 2008 ?
problem solving, problem solving skills.
He ran this race in Athens in the year 2008.
Who says this is Olympics?
It was a 'track meet' not olympics.
Athens Olympics were in 2004
