Wouldn't you want the custom section to be in the back of the pool rather than front and center where everyone will notice it looks different? Couldn't you start at the gate and go off in both directions and see where it meets in the back of the pool? That way the front area looks perfectly symmetrical.

I don’t have a lay out stick. How big and how far are the 5/8 holes apart from each other? Thank you

Hello, I have a question about the custom cut section that I’m doing last. The section area before both sides meet (the last 5th hole on each side ) is 11 1/2 feet away from each other. How should I go about doing my custom section? On the explanation, the custom cuts are always the 4th pole to the fifth pole. So I would have to drill two 2 1/2 inch holes and make a custom section that is about 6 inches long?

How did you do the custom section? And how is the fence holding up?

What kind of pencil are you using to write on the concrete? And where did you get it?

He calls it a grease pencil - you'll also see them called a china marker. It's a waxy crayon kind of material, sold at hardware stores. Yellow and red are common colors, I think you can get them in blue or black.
