You are awesome! I love how you have such a great relationship with your kids step mom. Your personality is great, your editing is crispy, and your project turned out fabulous 💙
I love how industrious you both are, for inspiring quality to have! It definitely makes me want to do more with DIY’S. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us❤️☺️
The shelves came out amazing, and I really like how you filled the wall! It really makes the landing on the top of the stairs look stunning and not be wasted space. PS - Great job editing!
I love your videos! I like building things too and I get great inspiration from you. Also nice to see stepparents getting along so well, I called my husband’s ex-wife my wife-in-law, lol. She lives nine doors down, we have keys to each other’s homes, watch each other’s animals when they vacation time rolls around, and she has Thanksgiving and other holidays with us. We’ve even all travel together. I’m equally close to my ex-husband’s girlfriend. People don’t have to hate each other!
I just loveee your energy girly !!! It’s beautiful to see that you and Hilary are such good friends. I relate. Great project. I’ll be trying these out for sure. Hugs 💕🔆🕊
Just stumbled on your channel, you guys are so much fun to watch :). Love the wall color for the picture ledge could you share the color name n make. Keep doing what you love!
Hmmm. I used poplar and probably let it sit on there for just a few minutes. I wonder if the color looks different on screen than it does in real life?
@@espinozamichael20 ah dang! pine is such a tricky wood to stain. Whenever I’ve used pine, I get mixed results and I have to either leave the stain on forever, use gel stain, or several coats. Sorry for the hassle!
🗣😬Can you build a shed/she shed?? I want to start building stuff but I don’t have tools yet or a place to store tools since I don’t have a garage....So, I’m thinking that the 1st thing I should build once I get tools is a shed to do wood work, storage and mini office. Build one for a friend and film it😬pleaseeeeeeeee
I have been watching several picture/art shelf ledge videos just to see the different variations and one thing I have noticed. No one has added any detail to the shelf/ledge no router round over edges, not beaded or detail in any way. I don’t understand. I added detail to the shelf so not only the items on the shelf are nice to look at but the shelf its self is artful as well. Just my two cents.
Love everything that you do!
EVERYTHING!? I need to come to Singapore to discuss this.

What size are the nails???? I have been thinking about buying these and as soon as I saw prices for the length I wanted I decided to make them.

@3:53 Jennifer Anniston??
hahaha
If i don’t have a nail gun will just hammer and nails work?
I can’t see why not!! Go for it! Just make sure to use wood glue!
Used the same color stain and it did not turn out looking like that color. How long did you let the stain set in before wiping off?
Hmmm. I used poplar and probably let it sit on there for just a few minutes. I wonder if the color looks different on screen than it does in real life?
@@MadeBetterHome it could be the poplar because I used regular pine.

You’re a badass
