- “What started as a small group of Asbury University students worshipping through the end of routine chapel launched into a continuous outpouring that has lasted multiple weeks. On February 8, 2023, God actively moved and called students to linger in Hughes auditorium for an extended time of prayer and worship. Unknown to the students at that time was the wildfire of spiritual renewal and powerful community worship that would ensue from simply listening to God’s simple call.
As students stayed locked into the Holy Spirit, transformation began, and more people answered the call to go to Hughes. Hearts were broken for Christ and mended, and worship poured onto campus at all hours. The young Generation Z known for its lostness and identification with worldly ideologies, rose up as a spiritually equipped army serving God from the frontlines. The university’s students, faculty, and staff members, along with local community members and worldwide travelers have gathered into Hughes to witness an outpouring of God’s love and spiritual renewal. As God’s church gathered, healing and miracles were present. This Asbury outpouring, also known as the Asbury University revival, has spread across the nation and globe, sparking continuous revival on various college campuses such as Cedarville, Northern Kentucky University (NKU), and Lee University, as well as garnering the attention from other countries like Brazil, Israel, and the Netherlands.”

Note from the Producer:
On Sunday morning during church worship, the 12th, God had spoken to me to go to Asbury and capture the story of what He is doing there. I tarried, and ultimately didn’t go. Tuesday morning, the 14th, God once again spoke to me in the morning and said “Go, capture the story of what I am doing there.” This time, I went with haste.
(my wife is so gracious for allowing me to be obedient to God’s call. Especially when it falls on days such as Valentines day!)
God’s plan was evident in the favor that He bestowed upon me to capture what I needed to tell this story. There were a total of 15 interviews and 4 days of b-roll that fed into this story. An entire day of rain, high wind velocity, even hail couldn’t stop what God was doing (both in this film and at the Outpouring)
I felt that He revealed to me that He wanted this story to be told to inspire and encourage college and university students everywhere to radically pursue Him as the students of Asbury did. What God has done at Asbury, He will do anywhere!

She took my footage and my vision and sculpted a story that truly captured the essence of what I experienced (while she stayed home to hold down the fort). I'm Jewish and I absolutely LOVED seeing this happen in Asbury. Even though I'm in Texas I thought multiple times about driving up there to experience it. I watched live streams throughout the entire event and still come back to UA-cam to experience it again. God is REAL!

My life was forever impacted in 1971 by an Asbury student who shared what the Lord did during the 1970 outpouring. I can only imagine the worldwide impact these students will have as they go out.

What worldwide impact? Did they devote their lives to service of the poor? Did they quit judging sinners and leave it to God to sort us? In the last half century all the problems of society have only gotten more extreme.
I sympathize with young people who need spiritual support and healing. I’m glad they are glad at the moment. But this unstructured emotional subjective experience is only a beginning, maybe.

Now in 2023, crowds are gathering again to see Jesus, hungry for the love and hope from their Creator. People are being healed and restored, faith is being built. What a sweet gift from above!

That prophecy was actually fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. After John was given the Revelation of Jesus Christ there was no longer a need for prophets.
How to be saved
1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner
2. Admit that your sins deserve a death penalty
3. Believe that a sinless lord Jesus Christ paid the penalty of death and paid for your sins.
4. Now you have eternal life. Ephesians 2:8-9
You dont have to do good works. Works are good and beneficial and you get rewards if you do them but they are NOT a part of salvation
You do NOT have to give your life to Jesus. He gave his life for you
You SHOULD be obedient but you dont HAVE TO
5.The word "REPENT" does NOT mean turn from your sins. God repented 41 rimes so it cant mean that. Repent means to change your mind from UNBELIEF to BELIEF in Jesus ALONE for salvation
@@honzarubes2103 So here’s my question. If sin is so serious that it requires a death penalty why would we not be required to turn from it to have an authentic relationship with God? Why would we not WANT to if we are sincere.
It seems to me Galatians 5 would have been unnecessary if what you say is true. Of course there is a difference between sinning and living in sin. Satan lurks in the extremes of legalism and the no repentance necessary ends of the scale.

This movement may very well usher in a desire, on the part of the youth, to study the holy scriptures as never before to know truth given to our forefathers before, during and after the protestant reformation. Back to school 101, what is truth! But unfortunately many will make feelings their guide and not the scriptures. The time is at hand.

I work with young people including being volunteer camp staff at a small Christian camp in Maine. I pray for the younger generation. I know the love is in their hearts and I always taught them to be lights in a dark world. However the world took over and not only were young people I know getting discouraged but I was too. When I first heard about this I was a "yeah thats nice" then a few days in I saw videos--thousands of young people praising God with all their heart and this had been happening for days. I could not stop watching live stream. Saturday I was moved so much I lied face down on my floor crying thanking God for what he is doing--and I'm not the super emotional crying worshipper but it hit hard. I never thought I would see this day. I keep seeing this tidal wave image in my head like Asbury like revivals are going to break out in many other places and flood a hurting generation in a hurting nation with His love. These students will live out Acts 2 just as Jesus' original followers

The love of God is awesome. I have seen the love of God in services. I have been believing and praying for revival in the Church world -wide for nearly 30 years. This is the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen as a Christian. What is so great about this is that this was not a preacher driven thing. God is reaching out to young people who have suffered from a rotten woke culture and world system. God promised this would happen in the last days before our Lord returns. "God is Love" -1 John 04:08

It’s been a year now. Even at 1000 miles away, watching this unfold online and through the news, the draw to visit this event was overwhelming! Only my duty to family obligations kept me here. Still. It was something to behold. Hope to experience that closer someday.
The million dollar question is... Is there repentance and real life change?

Mark Swayze, who lead worship a couple times during the Asbury Outpouring, just preached at the church camp I go to. It was super interesting to hear about what happened from someone who was there. When this was happening, I was struggling a lot with church hurt like the one described in the video, and to be honest, I was pretty angry at God, and I was angry at this outpouring. Since then, I have turned back to Jesus, and I love listening to stories from the people who led and witnessed it. So many people were wonderfully impacted by this revival, and it's amazing how it was led by a group of students only a couple years older than me. Two of my friends will be going to (other lol) Christian universities this fall, so please pray for them as they enter this new season 🙏.

@@honzarubes2103 You do know that Ephesians was not written by Paul and that Jesus made false prophecies? Paul and Jesus also disagreed about salvation. Jesus said that in order to get to heaven you have to follow The Law better than the Pharisees and Paul said the law had nothing to do with it. It's a hoot.

I love that that the heart of the Asbury University faculty, staff, and leadership was to "send out" rather than shut down. They were happy for people to "come and see," but they were thrilled for people to "go and tell." Having the national Collegiate Day of Prayer as a send off date was a great way to have others take what Jesus had done/was doing at Asbury to other towns and cities all over the US and even to other countries. It will be exciting to hear what God is up to around the world!
