, im curious about the white plastic piece i holding the rod for the slave cylinde, it looks like it gets removed for the install but when you removed yours it was still attached.
Pulling the transmission I made the mistake of not pulling the shifter plate off and had very very tight gap to get the transmission free from the bel housing because of my x pipe. It was doable but definitely gonna be removing the shifter to reinstall.
great video I like the "Ronald Finger" approach to the voice-over ... I have tried doing voice-over for my videos but its hard ...to do and make it seamless
Can't remember exactly but it went faster than I expected. If I had to guess? 2hrs or so. Maybe 3hrs max. And that was with taking my time to set up cameras and film. Having the lifts helped speed things up a lot.
It might be just easier to separate the transmission from the bellhousing and remove the bellhousing after the trans is removed, could be wrong though.
You're absolutely right. I can't imagine trying to slide everything back with the bellhousing attached to the transmission. I just removed the bolts that held the transmission to the bellhousing. The orange in front of the transmission is the bellhousing and I just left it attached to the block.
Shameless plug to check out my original songs on my music channnel ➡ ua-cam.com/channels/AYFaKe31NSCMnIS-FQ4zxg.html
Excellent video, applies to v6 5speed trans as well.
Great video!
Thank you!

Well done video! Gonna check out those jacks too!
Going to be doing this soon on my ls1 Camaro. Doesn't look too bad . Definitely need a trans jack. Thanks bud.
Was there any differences for your ls1 car
@TehGoldd small things. But very similar
Quick question. At 2:30 the rear pumpkin mounted torque arm... What size are those bolts and nuts? TY!

This is amazing work!
Glad you think so!

Thanks a lot man. I can totally relate. I think I just got lucky on this one lol.
I know this is a old video but when I replaced my slave cylinder on 97 was I suppose to leave that plastic strap on?
Thanks
Great video! You should do one on a c5 Corvette! I have a donor car...
Thanks! I'll look into that lol
Hey Nice, how much time did you achieve this please ?

Is this the same for a ls ws6?
And I'm just realizing this is one of your last videos! Still got the bird?
Yep, It's still going! Hit 250k miles a couple months ago.
