Kiss of Death is probably my favorite art of the set. It’s also interesting angle the game is taking by allowing AA to double as weapon attacks as well.
When I saw Shelter from the Storm for the first time I thought... JESUS CHRIST that's gonna be EXPENSIVE!! What an awesome incredible card. Best card of this and the last set, maybe
I think Shelter from the Storm is absolutely amazing; I agree - best card in the set by far. Only thing that sucks about it is that it is a Majestic. I highly doubt it will be less than $60, $70, maybe even $80 a card, if Codex of Frailty is any card to compare to demand. And it is a generic, at that, so practically everyone will need it. Let's hope The Hunted EV is better than Outsiders was, so that we don't have such extreme outlier-priced Majestics (like Codex), but we will see; The Hunted sure is looking like a set that demand will outpace supply.
I think Loyalty is much better than what you evaluated it at. You probably don't want to replace the second one you play and instead just play a normal slightly slower turn and wait until you have a good combo base and then you hit the gas with 5 card hand + arsenal + many other possible card draw
The parrot ally gave me an idea. Rangers have quivers in their off-hand, what if Pirates get a companion in their off-hand slot that do various things? Like a parrot companion can help dig through your deck, a monkey can ping damage, or a shark can make your next attack discard a card from your opponent if it hits.
You know...there are not alot of red-headed pirate captains out there in pop culture...but there is at least one that quite a few people would be familiar with. If that character on Shelter from the Storm ever does become a playable character...I think LSS would be missing a massive opportunity by not naming her "Sarah".
Another card i think should be mentoined is up stick and run, a 0 for pluss 4 on next dagger plus pay 1 to get a dagger back is insane. Lets you flick you hinter klaive for more mark on hits while getting it back later.
dual threat should be in top 5. yellow pitch. floor is 3 and ceiling is 6. you cannot stop opponent getting 6 value unless u strip a card from their hand
@@e-shark it's more nuanced than that. Snatch is generic and can be played by everyone. This is class specific and requires resources to send the dagger afterwards. I don't think they're equivalent or power creep comes into play
savor bloodshed requires you to play daggers which are 1 power instead of sabers which are 2 power in a midrange deck. you also need to mark and hit your opponent during the game.
Savor Bloodshed does not trigger if the hero is not marked, so if the hero is not already marked, Hunter's Klaive will not draw you a card. But especially as a Fang player, this card is so good!

shelter from the storm is gonna be an easy 30 to 40 euro card. i pulled a playset, 1 RF and 2 NF, luckily in Prague. plus i pulled a NF CnC and the RF Fable card, dont think it will see play or have much worth
@@MakaroniarzPL I think it's really strong in decks that support the archetype, but you have to build around it to get the actual value. That's the sideways design that doesn't make it power creep pure and simple
@@DMArmada It might be my impression but it would seem that the same is getting more easily to the point where a total threat of 20/30 points a turn is something achievable. With the power creep not stopping we might end up in a situation where due to the amount of very powerful attacks and life gain effects we will be constantly cycling between critically low health and amounts going way above the starting life total. Which is not that much in line with the fantasy of two heroes battling and progressively getting weaker. Dunno, just the impression that I'm having...

So excited to see warrior is still not playable after the let down of heavy hitters and another new warrior.
Fang is quite good. Plays more aggressively. I’ve already lost a few games to them during testing

I like Shelter from the Storm. I play Prism, but it's really annoying when Runeblade tokens blow up my angels, and maybe this will help.
