Those little turtles might be snapping turtles? Looks like your swamp is doing fine. Might need to take some cautionary measures with you to insure your safety due to possible water moccasins. Tfs as always.

We see a few water moccasins, but we have been living with them our whole lives and they don’t really bother us.

No, we have a wild population in the ditches and low areas, figured they would just show up if I built some habitat for them them.
