- A lot of people say that Hermione is 99% of the power of the golden trio. That Harry and Ron would die immediately if she wasn't so brilliant. So I decided to investigate.
I went through the entire series to see what would change if Hermione Granger knew nothing. Rather than the brightes witch of her age, Hermione is the dimmest.

Book 1 - I think they would never meet Flufy because the door was locked, and none of them knew alohomora. Than Quirel would just be stuck in front of mirror of erised, without hope to get the stone. No one would kill Quirel and Voldemort would be stuck in his turban for the next school year.
Book 2 - After Quirel hears first the roomers about reopened chamber of secrets, he would find Giny Weasly in the chamber of secrets with his diary and he would find safer place for it after he kills Lucius Malfoy for his stupidity. And erases a few days from Ginnys memories to cover his tracks. Than he closes the chamber and leaves it for later after he founds a way to gether his strenght back. Our trio would live through another boring year in Hogwards.
Book 3 - There is no way Hermione would need or be intrusted with timeturner, so Buckpeak and Sirius are dead. And Quirel teams up with Wormtail.
Book 4 - Bardy Crouch Junior joins Qirel and Wormtail. And Doumbledor still has no clue how Voldemort survived, since there was not the destroyed diary to lead him to Horcruxes. And Voldemor leaves Quirels head and is reborn on the graveyard the same way as usual. And Qirel can finally poop alone in peace.
Book 5 - Hermione is depressed that she can't mesure up with other Order of the Phoenix students, and they never figure out who snithed them out since Hermione wouldn't know how to make that spell or how to use magic conis to comunicate so the trainings thay do does not least for long and therefore they suck in defence and the most of them got killed in the ministery of magic by the deatheaters. They spare Harry because Voldemorts wants 1v1 with him. And onwards it keeps being more and more depressing so I don't want to think about this simulation further.
I think without Hermione, Harry and Ron would've befriended some Ravenclaw who would do their homework for them. So there would've been a Hermione-like character, but probably not quite as good
the fight in the Department of Mysteries wouldn't happen bc you established Sirius and Buckbeak dying (or Sirius getting the dementors kiss) in third year
First Book- they would’ve died - They would’ve most likely died on the potion task. But if Harry or Hermione somehow got it right to the chamber of secrets..
Second book - They (and the muggleborns) would’ve died - Hermione never would’ve read about the basilisk therefore Harry and Ron wouldn’t know how to defend themselves against the basilisk if they ever get into the chamber of secrets
Third Book - Alive - I’m not definite (I might need a re-read) but I think they would’ve survived but Hermione wouldn’t have taken every class.
Goblet of fire - Alive - Same thing really , no one dies but Hermione gets mad about the lies that Rita skeeter told in the articles. (Again , I might need a re-read on it).
Order of the Phoenix - Dead - Hermione wouldn’t have thought of the distraction and umbridge would’ve used the cruciatus curse on Harry (if this did happen , maybe the same would happen to the other D.A.D.A members. And if they did get to the ministry , None of them except Harry could really defend themselves.
Half-Blood Prince - Alive - Hermione would’ve not got angry at being bad at the potions compared to Harry if she was not as intelligent. I still think Hermione would’ve loved Ron though either way. (Another one I need a re-read on to be sure)
Deathly Hallows - Dead - The camping skills , making Polyjuice potion to disguise as ministry members , the shield around their camp thingy etc
correction to the third, Sirius and Buckbeak would die still due to harry not having a time turner

Sirius wouldn't be dead, just lose his soul. Also, how would Voldemort have baited Harry to the Department of Mysteries if Sirius was lost of his soul?
Maybe they used Lupin (kreacher making him leave the room him on Bellatrix’s orders) or McGonagall, cause I think at this time she’s in st. Mungo. Maybe Dumbledore but I forgot where he was at that time
They wouldn't make it past the first book, let alone get through 7 books

I think the plot would change far more significantly after Chamber of Secrets than you’ve considered in this scenario. Ginny’s death would have caused Hogwarts to close. Tom Riddle would be wandering around in fully corporeal form, but no-one would know this because no-one would know about the link between the diary and the Chamber and Ginny’s death. Everyone’s magical education would have to happen elsewhere - either another school would open in a different location in the UK with the same staff, or people would transfer to schools in other parts of the world. Assuming the first option, let’s say that the Weasleys still win the lottery and that Sirius still sees the article with the picture of Wormtail and breaks out of Azkaban. The third book then pans out roughly as written, with some changes due to the change of school venue from Hogwarts castle to somewhere else (no secret passageways, Hogsmeade visits or Shrieking Shack). However, there’s a possibility that the 16 year old Tom Riddle shows himself publicly or somehow joins up with the soul fragment of himself that’s floating around in Albania during this year. If so, there’s a possibility that Peter, realising that his master is back, kills Harry and runs off to rejoin Voldemort before Sirius can get to him. But let’s assume that this doesn’t happen and that Sirius tells the trio the truth, but Lupin then transforms and Peter does a runner. No Time Turner = no future Harry to cast a Patronus to save his past self from the Dementors. Even assuming that someone else steps in to save them from that situation, no Time Turner = no Sirius and Buckbeak rescue, so Buckbeak dies and Sirius gets Kissed. Then we move onto Book 4. There’s no Triwizard Tournament because whatever school replaced Hogwarts doesn’t have the history/reputation/physical capacity to host it, and also because Voldemort, in his 16 year old body, has started making moves/amassing his followers again based on knowledge acquired from his more “current” soul fragment, and the UK is no longer safe. As you said in your video, Hermione lacks the smarts to be teaching Harry any defensive spells, so perhaps Dumbledore has to step in from a much earlier point in order to keep The Chosen One alive. However, without the knowledge about the diary from which the 16 year old Riddle revived (unless he and Harry somehow put two and two together) Dumbledore may not be able to figure out that Voldemort made Horcruxes. Assuming he does figure it out, though, he needs to stay alive for long enough to spearhead the entire Horcrux hunt, because there are so many aspects about the canon Horcrux hunt in which Hermione was instrumental, and without her smarts, Harry and Ron wouldn’t get far. If Dumbledore is in charge, he also has to not fall prey to the temptation of the Resurrection Stone, plus somehow ensure that Harry becomes the master of the Elder Wand, and end up in a position to tell Harry when the time is right that he has to sacrifice himself in order to ensure that Voldemort becomes “mortal”. So unless Dumbledore lives longer and all that happens, Harry is super unlikely to succeed in killing Voldemort, and all of the trio would be highly likely to perish at any given point, either as war casualties (the war would have begun much earlier due to Tom Riddle’s return at the end of CoS) or while attempting to search for Horcruxes.
That’s my assessment of the situation!
If Harmonie died in the first by the troll in the book, it could brew up an interesting aspect. Harry would be sad, Ron would try to stay cool but cannot in end take it. Malfoy uses this guilt to take advantage of it.
so basically harry, ron, and ginny would die in their first year 😭 (ginny dies in the trios second year but her first)
