Family Guy is one of the longest-running shows in the history of television, and with twisted and politically incorrect humor created by Seth MacFarlane, the Griffin family animated series has no shortage of health-related episodes and medical scenes. Stewie Griffin, Peter Griffin, Lois Griffin, Meg Griffin, Chris Griffin, Brian Griffin, and Glenn Quagmire navigate their fair share of injuries, doctor’s appointments with Dr. Hartman, and prescriptions, but the accuracy of this Family Guy compilation is questionable, to say the least. After ER Doctor Jordan Wagner reacted to Family Guy a while back, he got a lot of requests to make a part 5. So today Doctor Wagner, a real life emergency physician from Experts React on Gamology will be watching and reacting to Family Guy funny moments and Family Guy cutaways. Family Guy best moments from Sibling Rivalry, LASIK Instinct, Amish Guy, The Old Man and the Big 'C', and Whistle While Your Wife Works. Do you watch Family Guy full episodes nocuts? If you want Dr. Jordan Wagner to continue making this doctor reaction series please give this video a like and leave a comment on which TV show or medical memes or just funny memes you'd like for him to review next.
Animated series "Family Guy" features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter (Seth MacFarlane) and his stay-at-home wife Lois (Alex Borstein) reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg (Mila Kunis), the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris (Seth Green) is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie (MacFarlane), is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian (MacFarlane), keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.

More south park??
The answer to the question "What kind of doctor is Dr. Hartman anyways?" is "Yes."
I think Dr. Hartman said once he didn’t even work at that hospital. 😂
@@DoctorER to me that sounds like the Team Fortress 2 Medic. even though Hartman didn't work at a hospital and Medic lost his license after the patient was missing his skeleton.
it's different but it feels similar... to me
He also once said that he's been sued by every patient he's ever had.
@@DoctorER you should do a reaction to night watch ems
It makes me question if Doctor Hartman has an actual medical license.
Fun Fact: In the first season of Family Guy, Joe's story for becoming paralyzed is completely different than what it is now. He originally was stopping a "Grinch" like character from stealing presents from a bunch of orphans on Christmas Eve. He chased the man onto the roof, and ended up slipping and falling off the roof, paralyzing him when he hit the ground multiple floors below. The story has been changed multiple times, my theory being that he actually lost the use of his legs in an embarrassing accident, and decides to cover the story with a heroic lie to feel better about it.
You think you've won
You think all is well
But you can kiss my green ass
I'll see you in hell
-The Grinch
they confirmed it was bobby briggs who parlyzed joe when he was undercover acting out blow lol but technically joe is paralyzed now because he had to paralyze himself after getting a leg transplant and being an asshole
@@thefreshvince879 bruh
Yeah the story did change.
@@thefreshvince879 and that one was definitely a spinal cord injury based on how he did it
I'm honestly convinced Dr. Hartman got his Medical Degree from drinking a can of Dr. Pepper.
Sounds about right. 😂
He is like Doctor Farnsworth, from Futurama, a complete lunatic.
Or a lucky bag
@@DoctorER hey for the gunshot wound thing i think you missed the joke because the doctor shot in the air before
He said he got it from Boston U
My sister once cut her finger off as a little kid but the doctors could reattach it and today she is fine. Hearing you talk about the difficulties of reattaching fingers makes one aware just how skilled the surgeon must have been.
Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow OW!
The surgeon has to be skilled, but the type of injury makes a difference as well. Clean cuts, like from a steak knife, are much easier to deal with than jagged tears.
@@CertifiedDoc it was with a pair of scissors
I cut my right indexfinger 98% of the way through as a kid myself with only a flap of skin keepin it attached to my hand after twisting a folding knife in a piece of wood which made it fold shut.
I got lucky too as my mothers work was all about traumatic hand injuries so i got both the best first aid and followup therapy possible plus my dad decided to rush to the hospital instead of waitin for the ambulance which saved precious time and the surgeon did a crackin job.
Theres a lot of circumstances that play into the final results but it really makes me appreciate the dedication and skill these surgeons bring to the table.
Oh my god that sound like it hurt
Love this dude, nice to actually see someone on youtube in a profession react to different media regarding what they do irl.
Thank you so much! So glad you like them. Let me know what TV show you'd like to see me react to next.
Yeah I like dr wagner his channel is smart and entertaining

i love these reaction videos, not enough professionals on youtube do it, especially doctors. cant wait to see more
Thank you! I appreciate it. Let me know what TV show you'd like to see me react to next.
@@DoctorER cells at work is a great one. It's a Japanese anime that focuses on biology, apparently it's very accurate
I like how Stewie looks so bored when Peter loses his fingers 🤪
I think that it's because he's no longer surprised by the fact that peter had his fingers blown off due to all the things he (peter) has done over the years.
Your reaction when you said "This is LITERALLY my life!" made me lose it 😂😂
8:31
This scene reminded me of the time my dad told me a firecracker exploded in his hand once when he was a kid. Luckily he didn't get any fingers blown off. His hand was just severely burned. It's completely fine nowadays in case anyone's wondering.
2:22 not as bad as when someone drank it
The thing w/ the rice cake that always made me laugh was the fact that he had it PLAIN 😂😂 like you can make it savory (avocado, tomato, egg), make it sweet (chia seeds, PB) but he is 100% correct in saying that a dry rice cake is pretty miserable
Yeah no dont think being on a diet means you cant have flavor
I like the slightly salted ones plain. I'm really neurodivergent tho so maybe thats just me
1:30 that's the best reaction right there😆😂😂🤣
I actually like rice cakes, maybe i'm just lucky i got ones that don't taste horrible
The flavored ones are good!

5:48 🎵You bring the corsets, we’ll bring the cinches, no one wants a waist over 9 inches!🎵
I always end up binge-watching your reactions when I'm sick. 😂
There are moments when dr Hartman is sad because he has been sued by his patients and is relieved that the griffin’s and his friends are the only patients left
One of the most awkward moments in my life was after providing my post-vasectomy sample. I had to hand the cup to someone in the clinic, instead of sticking it in one of those two-sided cabinet things. Ejaculating into a cup in a highly lit and almost disturbingly sterile room was unpleasant enough. Walking down a hallway and handing the cup to a guy was just weird. Then walking out through the lobby was weird. The vibe in a fertility clinic is weird. We've got people wanting to conceive and people not wanting to. People who may be anxious about IVF possibly failing. People anxious about their sterilization possibly not taking (like I was). People there to masturbate. People there to get fertilized. It just felt like such a tense situation. Even more tense than the time I visited a pediatric neurologist.
2:15
I was always both impressed and disgusted that Peter was able to do that. But yeh in reality that could never happen in a short amount of time.
5:15 me when I try new food 82 percent of the time.

I love watching your videos bro and I respect for what you do for the community, keep up the great work doc 👍
Thank you so much! 👍 Appreciate the support! Let me know what TV show you'd like to see me react to next.
Joe's also a police officer, so he's probably spent a lot of time going to the hospital for that reason.
Your Family Guy reactions are the best! Keep it up!
2:15- 2:30
Dr. Wagner: “you know, our bodies actually aren’t made to be able to produce that much.”
Me: “I am not surprised.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂
5:09 THE MEME!!!
Gotta say, one of the chillest doctors I’ve seen ever, and he makes hilarious commentary. I’d definitely smoke some of that THC with my boy
You and dr mike should collaborate on a video, itd be interesting to hear how your views oppose and agree with each other as well as being an excellent way to teach a wider base of people
Oh that would be sick I love both them and doctor mike could teach his side and Wagner can teach what he knows and they could explain how there different
1:33 i blame that nurse for leaving peter alone in there
5:22 Doc, if I can just say: I love rice cakes. Loved em since I was a toddler.
Yes, idk why people don't like it
I had Lasik in '07, I was a -8.75 in left eye & a -9.25 in my right eye. I've just recently within the last 6 months needed to wear glasses for a clearer image. It was definitely worth it. Love all the older Family Guy, so funny.
Was there anything you could do to prevent yourself from needing glasses again or is that just the nature of lasik
@@ValerieFire. I think because my vision was so bad prior that I inevitably would need glasses again.
@@jasonmcmurtry7812 Do you suffer from dry eye or allergies or anything like that related to the surgery?
I also had Lasik
@@ValerieFire. I did when I first got it done for about 6 months but it's not bad now
This is my favourite one you've done, such great scenes :-) I love your videos so much and always look forward to them
You missed the reason why Louis got blind thru lasic. Dr. Hartman brought a cat and the combination of it's claws, and his laser pointer attacking her eyes.
Oh nooooooo.
joe actually got his legs working in 1 episode and became a powerful man but then his wife shot him because her and his friends became mad that he was being a jerk to everyone i think.
2:27 HOLD UP RENÉ?!? FROM FAMOUS SHOW "ALLO ALLO!"
Hahaha I am totally like Joe! I have been to the ER, Inpatient and Outpatient procedures so frequently the nurses remember me. I once had a seizure, rushed to Hartford Hospital ER, and then it happened again literally 5 days later when I was seeing my Epoileptologist for my ER follow up. I had a seizure in his office WHICH is attached to the hospital! They literally called an ambulance to drive me 100 feet lol. Honestly they could have just dragged me to the ER and saved me the bill 😂. I got the same nurse, and she was like, "Nick, again?! We should get you your own private room on standby" 🤣. Some people say it's sad, but honestly I do not see it that way. I find it hilarious that they remember me and have developed some nice bonds with the people at the Ayer Neuroscience center. Seizure free over two years and they made me a Patient Ambassador since I was the first to get DBS for Intractable Epilepsy at Hartford Hospital. Any other Epileptics on here learn more from the Epilepsy Foundation website! Message me if you or know someone with seizures and is in need of help!
You had insurance, right?
Doc, you really need to dissect the injuries Peter gets when he's fighting the chicken. It be really cool and attention grabbing.
Awesome I've been waiting for #5 😊 thank you for providing us with great quality edutainment all the time, I really appreciate you
"...but you can still see the stove and laundry right" 😂😂
this is what I'been waiting for...! loveee family guy & doc thanks! great weekend
Hope it was worth the wait! Let me know what your favorite Family Guy medical scene was.
7:56 - It's Faaaaat Albert!
I have chronic pain and I was in the ER all the time as a teenager. There was a nurse I saw so much. She ended up saying I was one of her favorite patients. It was weird but also kinda nice in a way.
The “doctor” is not actually a doctor, on one episode meg takes an intership with him and he said something about his certificate meg complies him and he answered “yes I practiced a lot my calligraphy” referring that is falsification .
He also mentioned something at some point about assuming med school was expensive implying he never went
Lots of times he says something about how he isn't qualified for being a doctor.
"Oh god! I think i feel them moving! " 😂
That part was both gross and hilarious
Speaking of the episode where Quagmire gets a hair transplant, you should also react to the other medical plot line about Carter having a cure for cancer
I loved this video, I hope to see a #6 for Family Guy :)
I learn a whole lot from these videos. Thanks for posting, doc!
8:31 I have to admit something totally tells me that he should be putting it down somewhere and never pick it up when the fuses are litten or else his fingers will explode. I'm telling you, that's something what an idiot would do. ^^
Yeah it's stupid how he is holding the fireworks in his hand and glad we didn't hear Peter scream it would've been really messed up with all of his fingers gone hope he got to the hospital in time.
@@cdawg4021 yeah

Your Family guy reaction videos are the best so far!! Keep it up!!
Thank you! I'm glad you like them!!
The episode where Quagmire got the hair transplant is a very interesting one. I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts and perspective on the main plot of that story which is Carter having a cure for cancer.
Great video as always Dr Wagner! Keep up the great reactions as always!
Glad you like them! What was your favorite Family Guy medical scene?
@@DoctorER I died laughing when Peter's heart came out of his mouth lol
Hey Dr Wagner love watching your channel and hearing your medical intake on all the stuff would love to see you react to more house M.D episodes
Interesting thing about Joe's paralysis.
There's an episode earlier in the series, Joe's Walking on Air. And he gets a "leg transplant" and he can walk, but he becomes insufferable to the point his friends decide to break his legs to get the old Joe back. He promptly kicks all their butts.
Then his wife shoots him several times, trying to hit a specific place but she's a bad shot, and eventually Joe just tells her to give him the gun and he'll do it himself. Then he shoots himself in the spine and is paralyzed again.
So the original incident was damage to his legs, but technically the latest one was spinal.
6:04 while corsets where oftentimes used to reduce the apparent size of the waist by variable amounts, their main purpose was to provide a proper anchor for the large dresses and other outfits.
8:57
Joe: *"OH MY GOD!!!"*
As a person who had Lasik around 2 years ago, i have noticed that we do talk about it a lot. Might be because i used glasses over 12 years
This guy is so entertaining because of his reactions and so much more
Good video Doc, thanks for the medical info 💕💕
I can’t be the only one who’s private area felt uncomfortable whilst dr. Er explained a vasectomy
"you'll definitely know if somebody's ever had lasik before cause they'll tell you" 😂😂😂
I love this guy man
This is quality content
About the Purdue, he was very careful with his words to avoid a potential lawsuit most likely. They aren't good people. Hence the opioid epidemic.
Thanks for the fun vid Doc!
The Medic from Team Fortress is a way better doctor than Dr.Hartman, but he list his medical license
Great video doc maybe next time could you check out total drama medical scenes? and also keep it up with these videos ☺️
Total Drama might be coming very soon. Stay tuned!
Why do these always make my day?
I love your family guy reactions lol
I have a suggestion, how about reacting to some of the medical scenes/injuries from the classic Three Stooges episodes? "Men in Black", "Dizzy Doctors" and "The Tooth Will Out" are some good medical related 3 Stooges episodes.

My favourite scenes that are not included in this video : Peter having ballsheimer and Peter going to a 1950 insane asylum.
I have great reaction for you my friend . Theres a movie called the edge with a killer bear. Theres several injuries and medical attempts at fixing said injuries. Id like to know if the first aid administered was accurate.
Love these family guy scene reactions

You're welcome! And it would have to be peter not knowing what a vasectomy is

Vasectomy's are actually a pretty good deal. Quick, easy, short recovery.
I do take exception to the alleged recovery time. I've gone 13 times in 6 hours. It was exhausting.
Love it!
2:28 damn I've never seen an Allo Allo meme before. One of the greatest shows ever and so many these days don't even know of it's existence.
