Feeling as a pround Indian that our country is supplying this bike to the whole world.
G'day Mark from Australia, all the range from Royal Enfield are going to hit the mark for those that love the classic motorcycle look, the build quality and cost are one of the reasons why I have two a 650cc and 500cc and l think everyone who buys one will be happy, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

500 cc is very rare and it is truly the gentleman's bike.
I am an owner of this bike for past two months. And trust me it is pure joy to ride, at twists and turns it is like butter. Light weight to handle and power is awesome. When i press the accelerator it feels heaven. And yes, people do get pleasantly surprised that it is an RE, so definitely an eye catcher.

I notice the use of jute thread instead of plastic thread.Thats good for the local farmers as well as the environment.
I see this bike every day on our Indian roads since it launched. And I really love the sound of the stock exhaust In this bike. I feel that this bike do not require any modifications. It looks good as it is.

Had an email from my local RE dealer today saying they have the white one in stock. Red is much nicer, and a lovely exhaust note as you say. I’m really drawn to this model even though the 650 hunter makes more sense. There’s something so RIGHT about it and looks amazing quality- much better than my old 2018 500 classic.

Wow, I am amazed at the metal frame used to transport the bike; all that weight and complexity, the cost of which has to be added to the cost of each bike.
I'm guessing those can be recycled. Or reused.

Nice. They do look great. Love that exhaust note. Waiting for them to hit Australia. Might have one. Or the Classic. Or the Scram. Haven't decided yet. Then there is the Super Meteor coming next year . . . and whatever else Royal Enfield plans to release!

Going from how well that bike was packed up, someone at RE must have seen one of those UPS delivery driver compilations.
Earlier the moto used to read...Made like a Gun... Goes like a Bullet....Boy! I can feel the excitement of opening the box.
Look forward to this review Mark. My preference in this capacity is 390 duke. The bike I like the look of the best is Zontes GK350. This Royal Enfield, Hunter, and I've just seen it from videos of conference at NEC, definitely on the short list. Beautiful looking. The lovely looks, affordability and no doubt spare parts, which is where the Zontes detracts for me. Be great to see what it rides like and holds top end like. Keep up the great work.

Keep your 390, James. I'm keeping mine.
If your preference is a 390 Duke, really don't bother with this, it has less than HALF the horsepower. A completely different beast.

The red and black with gold strip reminds me to much of the old Royal Mail colour scheme, sounds lovely though.

Wow, that bike has got the most beautiful proportion and lines, it's perfect. I went to the bike show last week and went round all the stands but the retro ones just stand out, am I just old?? Nothing on the Yam/Kwak/Honda stands made me want them

These are super economical engines
I have the same rebel red variant and drove around 1100km so far. its a good bike but for me the paint feels like a problem.. The paint finish chips away easily even by minor scratches and stuff
Amazing that they let you do the unboxing and set-up. Will this now go to the workshop for an official PDI. Has it been preordered, or will it be a demo unit?

what a lot of effort they put into packaging the bikes do you return the frame or scrap it thats alot of packaging ; the bike looks really great

Will be interested to see what you think of the bike in due course. A bit left field question I know, but I feel it’s important to ask in this day and age…..how much of the packaging is recycled ? Presume the cardboard and steel box section forming the crate frame are reused, but there was quite a bit of plastic wrapping. Not great if that went straight into landfill.
Poole moto recycle as much as they can from the crates ...they unbox like 3 bikes or more a day :)

Nice looking bike, this is something you can do more Mark. I unpackted a lot of bikes at BMW Belgium and later a lot of different brands. I am always curious about this, do the frames go back to India? They did for some brands, I know for Ford engines they go back.

@@markpulling12 It's nice metal, shame they go away. Next week the Hunter is in Belgium the dealer told me, he has been for a whole week in India at RE. It's Jarno Motors in Kapellen, north of Antwerpen.

RE is working on 650 adv,650 classic, 650 bobber,450 himmy, 450 scrambler, 450 rally, 650 scrambler. Most will be released on 2024-25.
Zigwheels a UA-cam channe in India who are closely connected with RE have released the details.The news from them regarding RE have always been accurate.
Here is the kicker 450 Himalayan is said to be lighter than the current 411.
