Great review and it's a good point that Mizuno are not trying to mix their lines up and keeping the Rider traditional in the main while tweaking what its fans already like. For me the rider is the shoe I can abuse, and having wide feet I've always found it gave me the space I needed without slipping. Never thought of them as narrow before!
Thanks for watching! To us, the Rider is one of the most consistent running shoes without too many changes to the geometry or structure of the shoe as of late.
No knee, quad or hamstring pain after running/walking long distances. Although the Achilles has been bothering me, would the larger 12mm drop on this shoe be beneficial for me? Thanks!!
The higher 12mm drop should help if you have Achilles issues. A lot of people specifically with Achilles tendonitis do better with a taller heel drop because stretching out the Achilles tendon in a lower heel drop shoe can cause more issues.
While they didn't have them in all black on release, they do have them available in all black currently. The color is called BLACK-SHADE and you can find it on our website in the description.

I've run in every version and look forward to this one.

Love the review, super helpful! Where can I buy one of those hats!?
Nice review. Are you gonna made soon a review for the new wave sky 8?😊
Thanks for watching! The Wave Sky 8 review dropped shortly after this Wave Rider 28 review released.

I don't run but I use them for work. So making them look like a pair of black dress shoes is what I am looking for.
