I ran e85 on my Toyota 86 for the whole summer the car ran like a champ, best bang for your buck but I recently switched back to petrol because it started getting cold in my area and ethanol hates the cold when starting up.
Good ol pala temecula road. That road is fun to drive.....when you don’t have a slow car in front of you 😆 Most of the time to and from work at Pala I get behind slow drivers but when its wide open....so much fun! Keep the videos coming guys 🤘
If I get an intake, it'll mess with my tune. I'd have to rescale the MAF. I haven't looked into how to do that yet, but I've heard that it's not very fun. Besides, stock intake is actually very very good, so I'm fine with it :)
Slow down man tryna keep up with you on my BRZ build lmao, to bad e85 is extinct in Canada and thanks a lot for the help with the oft in the last video
Man, nice job, one of the cleanest 86 I've seen. I once did e85 on my impala and the corn smell was nice, although i think my flex fuel was messed up as I got a check engine light lol
OFT Stage 2 maps are usually reserved for cars with aftermarket catless headers however as per above posts they will work on a stock car running E85 fuel. You can run it with factory fuel lines /injectors
What are your fuel Trims at idle? My lt fuel trim sits at like + 25 at idle then it goes to zero under light acceleration as it should I believe and st fuel trim stays between + 3-5 which seems ok. I’m just worried about the high +ltft at idle. Thanks
If your reading this you should never romp your car over 130°F really bad Also from what I heard (I might be wrong dont quote me) from e85 you need to change your oil like every 1k or 1500 miles do to oil and fuel mixture.....
@@morejsrcars hey brother, i don't have the car knowledge like you guys but can you shed some light on some shit I just did. So, about two days ago I pumped gas thinking it was some better shit than E85. However, my check engine light went off and i took my 2019 toyota 86 stock to the Toyota dealership. They are telling me I pumped E85 in my car and that they need to drop the gas tank in order to empty it and put some good fuel in there. My question is : Can i just run my car until it burns the E85 fuel out completely without damaging the car? It's currently sitting at half a tank. Any help is greatly appreciated brothers. Thank you.
Car won't run right if you do decide to run a good amount of E85 without a tune. Either empty the gas tank and refill with 91 or get an openflash tablet and tune the car
@@morejsrcars yeah, the Check Engine light came on and it's having engine misfires. It has about half a tank of e85 still. Can I just burn it out on the freeway or will it damage the car by doing that? And fill it up with premium gas after.

Sup3rGrenade is it safe to run e85 ?

You should get the AFE power takeda intake it’s carb legal and you’ll make more power, and get more intake noise.

E85 power is where the car should have been stock. So much better in terms of torque band. Only step up you can do is boost.
Definitely should get the flex fuel kit they sell for those cars bro

Cleanest 86? its practically a stock brand new car? lmao
It's got slight performance tweaks. Exterior wise, only needs wheels. Every other 86 is literally stock or ridiculously modified.
Car sounds amazing Jake!
Thank you 🖤
hell yeah man and i live in lake elsinore ca we should link me and my friend both got 350z
Should prolly get a proper tune some time coz those are just basic maps
man ... pala!!! wow i gambled there too many times .. i recently bought an 86 2019 lovin every bit.. threw all mods in 1 month haha rumble rumble
That thing sounds so f-ing amazing
So you have to roll down the window a little bit when defrosting. Kind of weird but mess around with that and it works
Can you run E85 with stock headers and if so what’s the tune called or does it come already with the OFT
Luis Vargas yes you can I’m running it currently on a stock car with a catback and it’s still a huge power jump over stock.
Install videos are dope
The sound amazing
Yesss, every time I get off work it takes forever for the fog to go away. So annoying.
Was this all done with stock factory fuel lines and fuel injectors, only mod was catless header ? So all u gotta do is just tune it ?

Are you running catless headers?
Do you still have a loud cold start after the E85 tune ?
Thinking of getting the e85 for my cívic si
Haven’t posted in 9 months. What happened to this channel?
Why didn't you want to run e85 and backfire tune
Its 37 degrees here in Washington in the mornings now lol

E85 oil changes are every 3500 miles. Thankfully I don't think we'll be seeing 130 degree weather anytime soon as well haha

whats considered stage2? cat back and headers?
Hey man what headers are you running
Brz vs st vid
E91 is 7,58$ USD where i live.
How is it that you have a police scanner and still get pulled almost every video hahah
I get pulled over for my exhaust all the time not for speed Haha. It only goes off when they are running radar & measuring speed
What kinda exhaust do you have?
$4 for 91? Bro where I’m at I can get 100% pure gasoline 93 octane at that price
Yee yee
So radar detector brand is that
WOW! That's expensive E85. Mine is $1.95, MN

Yes. Depends on the car though. GT86 platform is perfectly safe
Will the stock injectors be fine running e85?
