Watching this live makes you realize what a masterpiece it is.
wow this session is a real hidden gem
this performance is a logistical nightmare. i cant think of any other song/band in the history of popular music with this many instrument changes during 1 song.
Dark Disney princess, I love you.
The way she plays on 2:45, nobody should be able to do that.
Annie Clark is able. Thanks God for her.
OH WOW she picks by using her thumb to do upstrokes...
Thats so wild ;-;
She sounds exactly like she does on the album! She's amazing
What an era
The drummer looks like he's having fun.
he's trying to decide if she's bow-legged or not
@@52barney : Annie is reverse bow-legged, or knock-kneed, as some people call it. So am I, but you didn't need to know that.
3:52 pure happiness
So underrated!!!!
I enjoy the more minimalist, "moogish" sound of her new band too, but I agree with those missing this brilliant bunch of guys. It was the sound of the various tooters, apart from Annie's guitar, that first caught my ear.
.
I love when 2:45 hits they all start getting it 😊
Favourite performance ever💗💗
The musicianship and the song-writting on this song are crazy good
So so so epic
What is that guitar synth thing she has which ornaments her playing? You can hear it at the very end especially- it's a positively magical little effect. She's a freaking genius and that band was just spectacular too.
it's the Eventide Harmonizer PitchFactor. it has a mode on it called 'Crystals' and that's what she uses in this + a lot of other great live songs.
I am in Love with St. Vincent.. She is beautiful and just blows me away with her music. WOW!!
I chased this after a completely fabulous sci doc short on galaxies! My luck!
it’s so cinematic
The microphone on her right is run through an octave down effect.
great session
Such beatiful.
2:43 Get it, Annie!!!!
*J'adore !
I was expecting a Pantera cover, but I'm not at all disappointed.
nememessss
I would have loved to been there!
Holy crap!
❤
Brilliant!
Love It
Holy shit
Agreed...but wait til you see the new one!
Only artist I’ve ever seen use two microphones for different effects
nice guitar work
I'm tired of not being able to her anything new from her. As cool as it is to be touring with David Byrne, stop and make another album please. I know she'll never read this, but please, I need new songs.
oh god
The bassist reminds me of Lucifer
ray manzarek on the drums?
Isn't that the drummer from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Woah, is that Peter Petrelli on the fiddle?
感受到了什么吗?她本来应该有的样子和生命力。
Why she uses two microphones?
voist magina one has an echo to it
This is the st Vincent I like...not that crazy about Masseduction.
She could've stayed an art pop phenomenon, but she turned it around and made her thing pop art instead.
100% agree. This album was her peak.
