I was travelling South America 3 years ago, by bicycle, sleeping on a tent and in little towns. No access to internet. I played Alto at times of relax, and I will always remember the feeling of calmness, quiet happiness I got while playing it. I am a big fan.
This is my absolute favourite game! I download and delete many games but this one game is what i always come back to. It gives me relaxation yet excitement, love all characters and assignments... Please we want it for Android as well, don't let all the Android users who love your game disappointed. Thanks!

@@altosadventure4553 Tell people the truth. The exclusivity deals with Apple Arcade are VERY strict, so just tell them now that it's never coming to Android and stop giving them false hope. Lying to your audience is pretty gross.

I've been playing the Alto series since I was 13. It is the most visually appealing franchise I've ever played, and I am absolutely hyped for the third edition! You can feel the love y'all put into this game, so I just want to say thank you for making such a great game :)

Understand the business model of it, especially in the mobile industry. But I agree, exclusivity sucks for us gamers. As it always has.
Dear Alto Team, Alto is the best series I've played in mobild in years. The fact that this series is still going on in some way is very good news for us players. Although I haven't yet been able to play 'The Lost CTI', which is a kind of October package you've released for Odyssey, I've had the opportunity to review the videos. The fact that there are incredibly beautiful spaces, the splendor of the background is really eye-catching :) but this applies only to Apple Arcade users, at least for now, it seems so.. I'm sure Alto's new adventures will continue somehow, I hope you have good news for Android users. As this artistic adventure, which has lasted since 2015, has been renewed and developed in 2018, we hope that it will now be presented to mobile users in its updated current form. I've never been too big on mobile games, but the Alto collection has not only been some of the best mobile games I've played, but some of the best GAMES I've played. The work you guys have done have actually led me to my love of vector-style art, and I'm thinking of attempting to do some of that myself. Youve all made a fantastic product and should be incredibly proud.

Hopefully this is more than a slightly tweaked version of Alto's Odyssey. In any case, I'd rather have a completely new Alto game, but maybe the developers have run out of ideas for new settings for Alto.
While we have nothing to confirm in terms of entirely new Alto games, you can be sure that we're always looking at multiple different ways to expand the series. The Lost City is just a taste of things to come!
@@altosadventure4553 i think the new one should be set in mountains or any topical region. Of course skateboarding is not possible with that one; but some other things could be done like vehicles and all. Either way the soundtrack and the graphics of the Alto games are those things that make them so special. I’ve been playing both the games since day 1. Cheers to the developer team!!

The reason there hasn't been much of a say about a 3rd Alto is because they've partnered with another studio to work on a folk game called Land&Sea.
@@altosadventure4553 hmm, I wonder what about a fantasy esque alto game for the third on the series, don’t know what it would entail but it would give you guys more freedom on your designs and vision for the sequel, maybe team alto enters a dreamland or something and there are unique area that the characters are traveling across in their dream such as an underwater Atlantis area or like others have mentioned a tropical biomealso I bet you could come up with some awesome lighting and horizon effects as they have always been amazing in odyssey and adventure, overall I feel that you guys have built the series up enough where you can now explore more creative options in future games!

@@MisterJimmyJam No, games on Android have gone over to Apple Arcade, such as Monument Valley but Apple Arcade games will be exclusive to Apple as far as mobile releases go. Please name any games produced for Apple Arcade that is now on Google Play?

Odds are it's an Apple exclusive because they're small devs and they needed the money from Apple to make it exclusive, but who knows. I hope it's only temporarily exclusive so that others can play it, but there's a good chance it may stay on Apple.

Why many of today's youngsters do not appreciate the beauty of such games ? Looks like getting access to wifi and pc is not really a good thing . Though I was also born in 2008 , we did not have much data back then , so we played only small games like Angry birds or Alto .

So here's some questions I'd love to ask:
1. Is there any ground-breaking new element? (As in, wall-skating when Odyssey was first released, instead of vine-grinding?)
2. When will this be available on other platforms, for example, Steam or Epic?
3. Is this a DLC for Odyssey or a sequel?
4. Apple Arcade isn't available in China Mainland. Does this mean Chinese players should expect to see Lost City for one time purchase on App Store?

Hi Team Alto! I'm a big fan of both Alto's odyssey and Adventure. I do notice that on android devices supporting 120hz refresh rates, Odyssey constantly stutters. Alto's adventure stays perfectly smooth. If it is a bug or if the game hasn't been optimised yet for high refresh rate on android, please do so. On my ipad Pro it plays well at 120hz.

I don't think ya'll understand. Money talks. Apple pays them an insane amount of money for that exclusivity. They're way beyond profitable if you choose to play the game or not.
@@thegatewaytoprestige I can understand the exclusivity since Sony is also very well known for their exclusives. It's just bummer that - presumably - Apple really wants it to be on Arcade instead of a standalone. I don't feel like paying a monthly fee on top of it being exclusive to Apple.
@@kareem6523 I will say this much, I wish there were annual options vs monthly options for things like this. I pay for my Disney+ once per year which I love. Charge me $60/year instead of the $5/month. But all gaming companies love their exclusives. It's why I have the latest PS, Xbox, and Nintendo systems every generation...the exclusives...so I'm fine with Nintendo doing it too.
@@thegatewaytoprestige Like I said, I understand the exclusivity. I'm a PlayStation user myself, and most of my played games are exclusives. But at least I could pay them at full price instead of having to pay a monthly fee. I'm not going to pay €60 to pay alto for a year either. I'll just pay 10.99 or whatever the price may be, and most likely make in-game purchases whenever I feel like I need something. I just don't like games being hidden behind monthly subscription. That's all.

The only thing I'd like as a major thing would be to have Alto level up himself..? I mean, admit it: we all start again, and aside from the 'personal' challenges, intend to play as Alto all the way through, but the change to Maya , use Izel, etc... Poor Alto...

playing alto`s adventure since was released. Devs, we need a harder game. Oddisey was kinda easy, finished in a couple of days. Cant wait to play this game, HYPEEEEEE

Really excited as I have a MacBook Pro since it's not on Android yet! The sad part is that it's on Arcade despite having the option for a free one-month trial. I would love to pay 10.99 instead like Alto's Adventure than a monthly subscription for only one game. Alto's is pretty much the only game that has always been on my phone. I hope to see it on Android soon or at the very least as a standalone purchase instead of Arcade!
