Kage whenever I need to get coconuts out of tree's I just throw a rock since I always keep 2 rocks on me at all times rocks are the easiest way to get coconuts down in my opinion and it also increases your throwing skill and you should check the base of big trees for Brazil nuts they give you a good amount of fats hope the tips help.
While holding a spear (or ax), you can hold "G" to throw a stone. If you're worried about losing your spear or tool, this is a good option for getting a coconut down from a tree. You need a stone in your inventory, though.
Aww I was hoping you'd build by the fishing dock. I built there and am using the floating platform to make a bridge to the bamboo side. Probably that and the oasis are the best place for new players. Lots of resources and not too many tribal/jaguar encounters.
Kage, I started my first play through right here after seeing one of your previous seasons. Some tips: The jaguar comes in from the north of the camp. Watch out when collecting water from the creek. I built myself a safety tower. One frame with mud roof and leader. As soon as he appears I’d jump on there and then rain down arrows on his ass. Your spear throwing will get better. It’s the same as crafting, the more you kill with it the better your aim will get The killer trap is great early game but head north and you’ll find tapirs, they are great for aiming practise and give so much fatty meat.
Also Kage don't forget to pick up mud to unlock those blueprints. The sooner the better so you can make the mud water filter which will help with hydration especially in the dry season.
I very recently got into survival games and have watched a bunch of your series. Excited to see one from the beginning! Only downside… I can’t binge the series
That's pretty silly that fats are a problem considering coconuts have a ton of fat in them. For how much possibility they give the coconut in this, they should really let you use it for food/cooking. Maybe they do, but the way Kage talks about it makes me think you can't.
I was going to comment this same thing, but you're first, Wojciech! Jaguars have bright spots, black panthers have dark spots, and cougars (or pumas) are mostly sand colored (they're also called mountain lions, lol). All deadly, though, and don't run from any of them, lol.
Best base location I saw was on the ridge just after you pass through the tunnel that gets opened after you take the drug trip. It is a bit inclined an that limits some of your build location options, but there is so many downed trees already just lying around. It makes resource gathering super easy, after you clear out all the bushes. I don't know, but I suspect those bushes were part of the drug trade, and this location (not too far north of the drug base) was a secondary site for growing their bushes. The ready access to all those logs makes this a great spot. Plus, it's pretty easy to block off access to your base.
Im not an animal expert, but im pretty sure Jaguars can climb, not like Leopards or Mountain Lions... Do you have to worry about the Jaguars climbing into your treehouse at night?
Yay! Love the updates they did! The climbing rope looks so much better than in Tourist mode and I am very happy that you didn't once just jump out of the tree house like you were in the previous videos.
Ya so I played this game for the first time last night. I never watched ppl play so I am a complete noob. I found this place and funny that I tried to build a tree house in the same spot too. Then I get attacked by a jaguar and I'm barely alive, running out of food, wounds in bad condition, then tribal ppl are at the base of my tree. At that point I had no health left so I just decided to go down swinging lol. Also I had found a rusty machete in that building!
Did the fix the part where animals and tribes people cant walk through the walls and builds yet? because that was the most annoying thing about building in this game
It’s deffo got a bit of a learning curve, but the survival aspect is great. The main story is also one of the best stories I’ve ever played in a game, if you like that sort thing. I’d deffo recommend it. I think I paid like £7 in a sale for the game and I’ve had like 150 hours out of it.
Kage You are doing a REAL survival by drinking a water from paddle of waste. The true gambler soul... "will I start to shine in the night or not?.." XD
The tree you build your tree house on will drop three whole Brazilian nuts at a time and each whole brazil nut holds three nuts in each they are the best fats in the game i reckon 😊
Glad to see you bake in Green Hell Kage848. They did make building easier but there are still a few grumpy cases. Also, you will like to know that palm trees now can be chopped down for four logs and palm fronds now. Also grows back if trunk is left.
How did they make it easier? Looks to me like they just moved building up off the ground cuz they couldn't fix it. I could be wrong but that's what my gut tells me because I saw nothing in the patch notes that said anything about fixing the bugs.
@@wolfhors3_660 First I had noticed a few of my old saves allowed me to place ghost images where I could not before. Not all of them, but a few. Also We can now destroy fallen trees out of the way. But yes, not all the old bugs were fixed with this update.
@Brandon Davis No need to be offensive. Cougars aren't just in North America. They can be seen in South America, too. I wasn't trying to be demeaning. Goodness.
@@BubbaDukems Not for around 100 years, now. Excluding a small sub-species in the Andes. Hunting and human inhabitation have limited the domain of the Cougar to North and Central America. They use to inhabit large parts of South America, though. Also, the only "panther" in the America's, is the Florida Panther, a sub species of the Cougar. "Panther" much like the term Mountain Lion, is just another name for the Jaguar.
@Brandon Davis I don't care how smart one claims to be (or how stupid one claims the other is). They can still be incorrect. Pumas are found in the Amazon. I mean, it's possible the devs got it wrong, and every Google search I've done is incorrect, though. Have a good one, man. You can have the last word. I won't be replying after this.

There's a couple of UA-camrs I'd like you to have that dark video chat with 🤣🤣🤣
Last season you made fish traps and they solve your fat problems, if I remember correctly.

5 hours with Kage 848. I really need to get a life. lol
Man, you make this game look so easy! Meanwhile, I've been repeating the same 3 days in story mode, barely clinging to life lol
well it kinda is easy once you learn how the game works

Yay! Finally another Green Hell series with the new tree house update! Can't wait to see what your tree house build will look like later in the series
This was cool! Looking forward to seeing what comes next. Awesome stuff here!

The treehouse thing is pretty cool but I hope you do some ground building as well cuz I want to see if that actually fixed any of it.
I have green hell old version and the building was terrible,, this new update looks awesome, Can't wait ❤❤❤
If kage ever gets lost in the woods he gon be living in a mansion before the first weeks up😂

You can drop the coconuts from the trees by throwing rocks at them by pressing "G".
I think you said you had m3 set for your recording or something. I think that was you.
This game has always looked too rough for me, but your playthroughs really make me feel like it's possible. Glad to see you return to it.

Are the tree house pieces available on console?
The update is not on xbox series s and x do u know when it is coming
This game seems like it's The Forest 2... lol
Is this update out for console?
Very sad that only pc gets the update…
I suggest don’t run with these things *runs* 😂
Have they made the update for consoles yet I don't have the option to build tree houses and stuff on PlayStation 4
They say it wont be on PS4 and it will only be on the new XBox's, PC and PS5 but i dont know for sure.
I hope they put the update on the PS4
there is a rain catcher THERE
Whoop whoop is all I can say

Happy yo find this, I've not played in so long I need a hint for this new update on what to do with the trees house deal.

You can also chop down the palms which gives you 4 logs.
Woo-hoo!
Kage just remember you can take out those nasty tree stomps that are on the ground and in the way.
Love this game glad you firing the series back up

Did they do the update on console as well? I haven't played in a lil while and this looks cool.
