Should I play survival mode if I didnt like the forest and its “story”? I dont wanna waste time doing quest when I bought a game to play a wilderness survival game
for anyone new to this video, to get rid of a centipede just throw the items down. For me my keybind is "Q". the moment u see or hear them just throw it down. they like to hide in logs and long sticks
First 7 hours I died at the start about 5 times. Each time I had a bunch of wood (each type) food and as I built a campfire, something jumped at me. The first time it was a leopard, the second time it was a tribe and other times it was getting late and I wanted to build something to sleep on and as I distanced myself from the campfire to collect some leaves, the leopard jumped on me. I was almost at the point of throwing the table in front of me. Each time before getting to 10 pm!!! I learned that leopards can't get on the prebuilt hut that was abandoned. Yeah, that was the place of his final rest as I punched him into death from above. It is a really hard game, frustrating sometimes but I learned how to "survive" in that game. Well, it requires taste but once you got it, there is no turning back JASON BRODY!! Sorry for the little reference there... 😅
I’m on my 4th attempt and I’ve made it to day 8. The first 3 attempts I couldn’t find a bird carcass to make arrows so I got mauled by Jaguars each time LMAO
omg I didn't even know centipedes were a thing until I watched this! What the heck! lmao I really liked this video, you really know what you are doing and you taught me about the fire bow! Brilliant!
I love this game I’m playing on tourist but customised to allow snakes spiders and some things that tourist doesn’t allow. Playing that on story mode and on spirits I’m in a custom walk in the park mode. I love it just running around finding food building etc doing what I want basically on each mode never ever gets old. Haven’t completed the Amazonian mode yet as I just enjoy building etc and haven’t yet found all the legends but it’s still fun for me. I turned off tribesmen and predators so it’s more relaxed I love how u can play however u wish on this.

I always got pissed about my tools breaking in the beginning then i thought to myself, "Well it is just a stick, a rock, and a vine.. its kind of a POS" 😂
I just started playing this and the only really frustrating thing is even on the normal difficulty the nutrients depletion is ridiculously quick, like seriously dude is dying of thirst after 1 hour and nobody is gonna die of starvation in less than 48hrs like here. The constant management of this is frustrating and takes away from the game. Also this guy passes out from exhaustion n like 12hrs!!! Wtf?!
Fun fact we learnt last night... You don't die from nutrient depletion (only dehydration). Also parasites don't harm you so you can drink all the dirty water you want. It's how we got the Vegan trophy (drink, sleep, repeat) 😅
I made it 14 days on this difficulty (Green Hell permadeath) and was doing great until the game spawned a jaguar at my base right behind me. I killed it but I died from the scratches a few seconds later. So bummed! 🥲

You get used to it after a while and becomes second nature 😀 only problem is you let your guard down and then a snake comes along … 🪦

Tbh the game is pretty in depth and there’s so many blueprints etc that can easily go unnoticed

Best advise from a pro of the game, armour. Get armour on ASAP. Once you have an all metal body suit it's pretty much impossible to die

Long sticks rope and blades make spears that you can throw ! Headshots with spears are a insta kill
I got the Game Yesterday and started Story on Welcome to the Jungle and died 5 times before even finding the first story location
Same here but haven't gone far yet
It gets a lot easier. I died in the first few mins on Walk in the Park and now have 3 trophies left to get 😊

Is there a reason why you’ve not used the abandoned fishing village to get established? It’s literally just down the river.
I have a few times in the past but just prefer other locations tbh, the space for building isn’t as much as other locations
