Thanks for posting this video. After you passed immigration and were on a line with your luggage ( I assume this was customs) what was the paper form that you gave the man who was collecting them from people on the line.
It was a customs form. It almost seemed like a checkbox for them. I looked up the form and here is the link: www.mexicotouristcard.com/uploads/1/0/0/6/10068443/declaraci%C3%B3n_aduna_engl.1.pdf
I’m coming to Puerto Vallarta in October from the United States. Do I need a fmm form? I’m a tourist. Just there for 9 day on vacation. I have my passport. But I have seen posts about they no longer use fmm forms.
You will be going to Mexico on vacation for 9 days, on a tourist visa. All you need to do is bring your passport when you land just get in line and follow their instructions. Their immigration is pretty easy, everyone there is helpful, and when we went most spoke English. Have a blast. Let me know how it went.
In General. Just to get to Mexico for a vacation you only need a passport and you will get a tourist visa when you enter Mexico. If you are looking to stay longer than that (6 months +) you would have to apply for a different type of Visa. Here is a link to the Consulate we used to get our temporary residency. consulmex.sre.gob.mx/mcallen/index.php/servicios-para-extranjeros/visas-extranjeros . Hope that helps.
Just the luggage. It was extremely easy, I was fully expecting more hoops to jump through. Last year we were flying to Guadalajara but did customs in Mexico City and we had to go through metal detectors after they scanned the luggage because we were boarding another flight.
They did not have one in PV when we went but you know with Mexico that can change day to day. There was red/green light when we went to GDL and Mexico City last year.
@@BKAdventures-fe7enis that because you went thru as a resident? Thanks for such a prompt reply. So excited to go. Never been to the west coast of Mexico.

No cellphones, and no cameras ... except for us ... we're special.
HaHa
Well that’s 21 minutes of my life that I can’t get back.
Thank you for your feedback. I was trying to capture the entire trip as there were a lot of questions about it.
Video should have been 1-2 minutes long.
Thank you for the feedback.
