I enjoyed this conversation because, to begin with, I'm subscribed to these two amazing channels. Next, I love the process and the sensation of learning and understanding a little bit every day about the English language. Finally, I am planning to learn another language using English; I'm thinking about French. Let's enjoy the learning journey.
Hi Jennifer and Luca! Thanks a lot for this fascinating lesson! Way back when I was at school in the '80s and the early and mid '90s, the Internet was in its infancy. Studying was as dry as dust without modern technology. Mainly, we just went through different kinds of exercises in our exercise book. The Internet is a powerful tool for learning a foreign language, English, for example. Once in a while, I have had a chance to do customer service in English. I take it as a positive challenge. I make mistakes, but I can get my message across and help the customer. I don't let my mistakes bother me too much. I really liked this lesson, it was like a breath of fresh air!
Thank you so much! 👍It’s really good explanation. I have been learning English for two years and you described my condition when I started to speak with someone 🙂
It’s amazing the ability some people have to learn multiple languages and retain all that knowledge in their memories. Thank you, Luca Lampariello, for sharing helpful advice with us. Thank you, Jennifer, for this interesting interview. You (both) rock! 🌻
I really admire polyglots. It's almost like a superpower. But they don't seem to think they're doing anything special. They just have a process that works for them. 🎉

Good evening Jennifer. Thank you for this other video about tips on how we can improve our English, la ringrazio Luca per aver condiviso con noi la sua esperienza e per averci consigliato su come migliorare una lingua. I see you next video.
I agree with Luca. I enjoy learning English (and Portuguese) at 59 years old, watching videos of people like you. I don't see it as an effort, but as a pleasure. And, of course, I think your videos are the best.
Im italian living in USA and after a while i know luca is right if you have a friendly conversation partner and engage regularly the level of proficiency takes off and the nervousnes starts to wane and as a result you get i ncreasingly more confidence in yourself and that double action triggers your mind to keep thriving at every future conversational encounter
It's so incredible that there are people out there who can attain the proficiency in 11 languages. It shows that he's dedicated a lot of time to this process. Hopefully, I'll be able to one day speak at least 5 languages.
It’s very true what Luca said … if you’re feeling anxious, nervous, mad etc. Don’t expect of your brain the highest performance. If we look at the physiology of stress reactions the blood is not flowing as well as when you feel relaxed and calm. In the other words your energy, the emotions you feel meter!
I'm currently trying to learn Spanish, and I'm going through that struggle of wanting to try to speak more, but my mind goes blank. Some days when I don't feel like reading material in Spanish or learning or have doubts in the back of my mind, videos like this motivates me to keep going, learning from other people's experiences.

Great suggestion! 😁

I get anxious when speaking to someone, it's like my stomach is churning at the moment 😅 and forget the words 😂. Shyness is a big problem.
Shyness can be tough, but it’s also something you can totally conquer with practice. Keep practicing! You've got this! 🙌
Hi sister, if you don't mind we can practice together. Thank you
