If the dates of my studies are 2 September, 2024 - 7 June, 2026, then on what dates should I apply for a residence permit? Strictly for study dates?

@StudyinSwedenOfficial Is it granted for only 13 months? Am I right? Also about the Bank Statement, can I apply for it now while my study will start on August 19th?

Hej @@nedaahmadi6124! The first residence permit can be up to 13 months, yes! You will have to apply for an extension before it runs out. You can apply for this extension within 6 months to the end date.
Regarding the bank statements, check part 2 (financials) for more information! /Fredrik, Study in Sweden

Hej! You're in the right place! After you are admitted to studies in Sweden you should apply for a residence permit as soon as possible (unless you are an EU/EEA citizen, in that case you don't need one). Watch the video-series and read more at www.migrationsverket.se/English/Private-individuals/Studying-in-Sweden/Higher-education.html /Fredrik, Study in Sweden

Can I safely assume that EU nationals do not need to apply for one

Hej! As an EU/EEA citizen you have the right to work, study or live in Sweden without a residence permit. You also have the right to start and operate a private business. The right of EU/EEA citizens to stay in Sweden without a residence permit is called right of residence. You have right of residence if you are employed, self-employed, a student or have sufficient means to support yourself. If you have right of residence in Sweden you do not need to contact the Swedish Migration Agency. You can read more at www.migrationsverket.se/English/Private-individuals/EU-EEA-citizens/Work-study-or-live-in-Sweden-for-EU-EEA-citizens.html /Fredrik, Study in Sweden
