Hi, it's also mentioned that salaries can be used as another source of financial support. So for example, if I'm applying for a residence permit starting from September 1st and can prove I have a job contract until then, would those 4 months(assuming I apply today, 1st of May) of salary directly be added to my amount of financial support? As in, the amount I have to show in my personal bank account will be reduced. Thanks!

Hi there, if i don't have a scholarship and have to pay tuition fee, do i have to provide proof of financing my studies along with my living expenses. Meaning does my bank statement need to have 10,314×12months plus tuitions fee for the entire program? When applying for the permit?

Hej! You have to provide financial proof showing the length of your residence permit. So if you start with applying for a residence permit for 12 months, you only have to provide proof for 10314*12 months. When studying at some universities you may apply for a residence permit for longer than 13 months - but then you also have to provide financial proof for the entirety of your residence permit. /Fredrik, Study in Sweden

Hej! You have to provide finacial proof for the entirety of your residence permit length. So if you apply for 12 months residence permit, you have to show financial proof for 12 months. /Fredrik, Study in Sweden
