Make it as hard as possible for them, use really good chains (e.g. Almax) that are angle grinder resistant. When you chain up a bike, chain it to something immobile (lamp post/ground anchor etc.) & chain it through the frame of the bike if possible. An alarmed disc lock is also a good idea, draws attention to them. A GPS tracker is worth the money. If keeping bikes in a garage/shed, get it wired to your house alarm. Cameras as a final deterrent. Lastly, best anti theft measure is a dog 🐶 Scum don't like messing with dogs.
