Couple of cards I run in Kykar and would highly reccomend, but also I believe existed at the time of publishing are Protect The Negotiators, a funny 1/blue with additional kicker of a white, counter target spell unless its owner pays 1 for each creature you control, if kicked you get a soldier. Very memey but also not hard to be pay 5 or countered which just doesnt happen. More standard would be Thraben Charm, awesome instant with a lot of creatures in play, one mode being ever vital graveyard hate.
Pretty nice deck, although personally with how many instants and sorceries I would recommend a Thermo-Alchemist and/or Guttersnipe for more pings each time you play an instant/sorcery. I would also recommend the enchantment Gravitational Shift since most of the tokens generated by this deck has flying to give +2/+0 to all flyers and -2/-0 to all creatures without flying.
Guttersnipe and also Agate Instigator and/or Impact Tremors are the three pingers I run, I think if running more aggressive spellslinger Id run Molten Gatekeeper for the Unearth on a big turn.
