It shouldn’t tell you everything about his past/origin, but it shows you where he ends up. Some people entered this show knowing most of the champs but not knowing their backstory, so the show was still interesting to them because they didn’t know everything

When watching videos like this makes me realize how much Viktor looks changed at the beginning he was standing up straight and he looked healthy but more as the sickness is taking over him the more he slouches and looks more weaker and more fragile

I just personally believe Viktor has romantic feelings too from paying attention to the smaller details. But even when they end up hating each other I’m sure the emotions will be more complex than just hatred.

Obviously the rejection of Sky is mostly to show how obsessed he is with his work, but it can have multiple meanings.(like he doesn’t see the point due to his health, or perhaps even that he’s aroace, but the juxtaposition to Jayce with Mel may be symbolic of romantic feelings) It’s just an interpretation. People shipping them romantically just goes to show how intimate and deep their relationship is.
